Comfortable property to stay at for overnight stay in Port Pirie

The only issue we had was with the name of the motel. On Booking.com it was called John Pirie, however the name is now Breakfree

Easy access to property and a restaurant on site.

Clean and tidy

Very clean and roomy. Our room was right near the pool. Spa in our room.

Pay for a spa room with king bed, however the bed was two single beds pushed together. Not comfortable.

Provided what was required towards the end of a long road trip. Good clean facilities, comfortable

Staff very friendly & helpful. Room nicely appointed and very comfortable. Restaurant menu choices good and meals of good standard, nicely presented by competent staff.

Nothing really - it was only a quick one night stay.

Although the weather was extreme, our stay was comfortable with air conditioning.

Our room was cosy, Gifted a lovely package of wine and nibbles which was special. We appreciated the pool, it had been so hot, the first time ever we had a swim before breakfast.

There was nothing not to like.

A Very Pleasant Surprise

The room is cleaned, has all the essentials that we need. We were pleasantly surprised with complimentary freebies (like kitkat and chips and a small bottle of Penfolds). Staff was helpful.

There was nothing we dislike.

Lovely, warm and clean place to rest your head for the night!

The spa was huge! The bed comfy and a million pillows to choose from for sleeping! Also the nicest touch was the free wine and snacks in the room.

The property is dated but more than made up for it in cleanliness and warmth.

Helpful staff

The staff were extremely helpful. We had a noisy cricket in our room and they quickly changed our room. We were towing a boat and there is plenty of room to park the boat out the front of the hotel. Good value for the price we paid.

If you don't have a car, it's a 20 min walk into town.

The John Pirie Motel was an excellent stopover before travelling on to Adelaide the next day.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at the John Pirie were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Reception staff advised us of a great way to avoid some heavy duty roadworks on Highway 1. Basically advising us to take the Port Broughton turnoff and head on to Adelaide from there.

Great size room. The most comfortable beds and pillows ever! Nice complimentary nibbles.

Nothing really. A box of tissues would have been good but everything was great.
