The room was clean and with new furniture, really cozy and it was obvious that there was some recent effort to make the hotel comfortable .
The personal was extremely friendly and very nice.
Due to the location right next to the street it was extremely loud and impossible to sleep with open windows, an air condition would be a good solution since the rooms are heating up very quickly.
Also the door of the corridor and of the other rooms were super loud, so Oropax are a must.

Unfortunately the place of the Hotel is not the best in Kassel. For 1-2 nights, I guess it should be okay..

Wi-fi absolutely sucks!!!
Had to request to move to another room, for the first one just didn't hold the signal at all. And even in the other one, pretty close to the repeater, simple light stuff like sending an e-mail was painfully slow or impossible.

Very roomy almost apartment size double room. It even had a 3rd bed in a separate alcove. The room was clean, and the two single beds together were comfortable. Breakfast was simple but with a good range of choice.
No air-conditioning. It was a hot day's stay with two portable ventilators, the nights were very warm.
Our room was on the 4th floor and the lift only went to the 3rd floor so two extra flights of stairs.

I didn’t find the hair dryer in the room and I can hear exactly what happened in the hallway

Quite friendly staff. The bed was comfortable. Hair dryer available on request only. The location seems bad at first, but is close to center. There was a problem with payment, booking.com did not connect to my paypal as they should have, but staff trusted me to solve it.
Only 4 parking spots of which staff takes one! The curtains do not cover the entire wall, waking you up early from the light. There was some hustling (drug sale) going on at night on the parking lot. The smoke detector in the hallway was missing.

The traffic on the street was heavy, the room on the front side was very noisy. Closing the window solved that, but I prefer to sleep with window open.
Ask for a quiet room. And apart from there being no internet (for me personally a great problem as I came to report Documenta, the art manifestation) the place was okay.

The noise from the street is overwhelmingly loud all day, so we couldn't dare to open the windows on hot summer days.
