喫煙所が少ない

啄木亭を利用するのは、今回で４回目です。前回と期間が開いたのですが、前回はバイキングが良かったので、今回は質、量ともに残念でした。がっかりです。 おそらく、次回の函館では、利用しないと思います。

The staff was kind and helpful.

I had a bad experience here. The service was good but the rooms were very old, stained everywhere, and badly needed renovations. I came in late July but the air conditioning barely worked even though I had it on 18 and max power. The bathroom drained could only take minimal water before flooding, and the free breakfast ended at 8:30 AM. The pillow had straws in them and hurt my neck a lot. I had to pay for a room upgrade to get a room that I wasn’t really satisfied with. The staff was nice but some in management or the ownership group really need to pay for serious upgrades. I stayed in hundreds of rooms in Japan and this was only the second time I felt like this.

The bath was so nice, especially the roof top onsen! Breakfast was amazing, every local and traditional food you could imagine

The pillow was very uncomfortable

Quiet location. Excellent breakfast. Blissful onsen facilities.

Difficult to book evening meal - tried for two of the three nights we stayed,but it was fully booked up!

The garden and Onsen were beautiful and very enjoyable. The location was close to the ocean and street car line.
