The hotel encapsulates all of the charm of the port and feels like its heart, whilst maintaining a calm atmosphere. Our room was tended to each day of our week long stay, and the views and sounds of the sea were extremely soothing. You couldn’t really sleep any closer to the water, but being set a couple of floors up meant that we were never disturbed by noise in the night; we could sleep with the balcony doors open, and it was still peaceful. The staff at the hotel are second to none — attentive, charming,informal, and keen to help us organise day trips and relax as much as possible.

In this hotel you pay for the terrace and the view, but the dinner and breakfast were also very good.
Personnel were also nice.

A true gem of a place to stay! Very friendly owners and staff, helpful in every way, clean room fully furnished, and very quality and comfortable. Great little seaside town. Easy walk to ferry to Loutro. Nice restaurants for dinner and breakfast.

The host was very nice and greeted us with a welcome drink. Our room was spotless and the bedding was very comfortable which was much appreciated after a long day of travel. The location is lovely.

Restaurant is closed off season, so no breakfast. And the whole village is closed. Only 1 restaurant and with a not very nice owner.

A nice traditional stone room with balcony and views to the sea. Small but adequate with kitchenette and good wifi because of installed router. Good shower. We enjoyed our Cretan experience.
All good if you have a car or like walking. Beach 200 metres, archeological site 2 kms and shops and tavernas (off season) up the hill at the next village but in season nearby.

Location is great, the views are also amazing and the sound of the sea is so relaxing at night.
Very basic breakfast, not great attention, no elevator, building looks old, but rooms are fully renovated.

Got free upgrade to a corner room. Large balcony with views over the harbour and bay. Nice light,airy, modern room with all facilities. Hotel is in a superb location adjacent to all shops, tavernas and bars. The resort was quiet at night and busy during the day with lots of locals and holiday makers using the busy ferry terminals.
OK for a short stay or passing through the port. The beach is tiny. Off road parking for our hotel was in the grounds of the local bakery (put a ticket in your car window with your room number on). We saw one guy whose car got blocked in and nobody knew who owned the car responsible. OK for one night perhaps, otherwise, (as in our case) you might as well pay to park in the massive car park at only 3 euros per day. You have to catch the bloke who gives out tickets for however many days you want. He doesn't have a uniform and looks like any other local. The people in the ferry booking office will point him out to you.

Our return stay here - this time we got a standard room. Still a good view but with a smaller balcony overlooking the bay.

Moved to suite for last evening of my stay because the smaller rooms were booked out. Room was fabulous, very spacious, great views, very clean. Staff were also very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend.
