Location was great.

The door of our room didn't close. The pictures of the apartment were different from reality. The place wasn't hygienic. Our contact person wasn't available the whole day when we tried to check out and pay for the accommodation so that this still had to be sorted out after we went back home.

I don’t recommend anyone to stay here tbh. We spent two nights in early December in this place and honestly… one of our worst hotel/apartment stays. Why? it was freezing cold as they haven’t sealed the windows or door. We didn’t want to go back to our room when being outside as we knew we would be freezing even more being inside as we had to take off our jackets. I tried sending a couple messages asking them for a heather or something to turn up the temperature, obviously wasn't surprised with the lack of reply and checking previous reviews they're already aware of this problem. To add to this, neither my partner or myself has previously struggled with easily getting cold - we are quite warm people. Except from the coldness and lack of service, the location was upon arrival amazing but later on in the evening dreadful. As the windows and door wasn’t sealed enough (or at all?) you will wake up at multiple times during the night as drunk or high people would go home from the pubs and clubs that are located 1 or 2 blocks away from this place. If you are even more unlucky, some of them might be staying at the same place. Security? You will get one code to open up the front door and another code to open up your apartment door. Amazing idea, however our room code was way too easy to use for your apartment. I cannot obviously write the code here, but just imagine one or two of the easiest combinations you’d think of when seeing the numbers 4,3,2,1. Not only was the code really easy and given little to nothing of secure functionality, your door needed to be locked from the outside when entering the apartment(?). Come on. I booked this place as a surprise to my spouse and was embarrassed after leaving this residence as it was probably one of the worst stays I’ve had before. You should be able to sleep without freezing (even with full set of clothes on) and obviously feel secure when sleeping.

The property was based in a great location and also very clean and tastefully decorated. Our host Silvia was great and really made our stay comfortable.

No wear to store luggage if you arrive early and also found the room quite cold.

the room was spacious and bright, comfy clean bed the bathroom is huge, there’s a bed pressy machine but with no pods supplied-that would have made it extra special

to make a cuppa you have to carry to steaming hot coffees up and down 2 flights of steep stairs as the kitchen was on the ground floor, bit of a walk into Leidseplein and really noisy street around 7am onwards

The stairs up to the top floor were quite narrow, so you really had to watch your step.

Excellent location in a Central area close to everything you would possibly need for a trip to Amsterdam. Any extra requests were promptly handled.

Shehnoor was a super host. He was so warm and friendly. He gave us excellent advise and information about Amsterdam. I would strongly recomend staying at this accomodation. We had the perfect time

There was nothing that we didn't like. Everything was perfect

It is ideal for family but not with young children (difficult stairs to the 3rd floor). Our 3 children slept all together in the same place and they enjoyed it. The 2 bedrooms are well separated

Very poorly insulated windows (single glazed sash windows), so very little insulation from night-time noise in our case, even on the 3rd floor. The doors are a bit noisy.

The property was amazing and so was the location. Everything was clean and smelled so fresh! The host was extraordinary and was nothing but helpful to me and my friend. I will always book this property if I go to Amsterdam, if it's available :) 10/10.

There were a lot of issues so pls bear with me: -the bathroom smelled of sewage the more we used - the cushions had holes in them - the lamps had no bulbs in them and they were ripped as well - the floors had splinters on them which were dangerous (for the children especially) - no place to hang/store the clothe. - Found hair in the bed - no coffee machine as advertised - mini-fridge was not cooled and couldn’t be turned on. - it felt like it was vaccumed weeks ago so it felt half-abandoned. We were on the third and last floor so it was the attic, basically. Probably the worst room since all the other reviews are good (hence why we booked the place). we must have been very unlucky? -very narrow and much smaller than in the pictures -super noisy street as well. - the worst of all was the strong fragrance from the sheets. they were newly washed but the person who washes them doesn’t know how to because they surely used half a bottle of laundry soap (of worst quality). it was so strong we got a headache and only by day 3 did the strong scent disappear. - the corridor stairs handle on the second floor is coming off the wall so to hold on to that is dangerous with toddlers. - the kitchen also felt badly cleaned this place was surely beautiful in its prime but you can see it’s not being well-kept and only bringing in money (which is overpriced as well). Pitty! + the only good thing was the very friendly host but that’s enough enough to come back. please take care of these beautiful Amsterdam buildings. with all that profit you should at least maintain your architectural cultural heritage

the location of the accommodation is perfect, we had a very good reception. the room and the bed are very comfortable and the view is amazing! the bathroom is very spacious. our stay was perfect in this place.

The Host Sheenon is such a nice guy. If you need anything he is there for you! Definetly next time again. Thanks for having us, it war really really nice!

We loved the location. The neighborhood was amazing with great local bars. Bike rental place just down the apartment.

Broken bannister on stairs. Broken bathroom cupboard, could not use credit card as machine broken, host not available to pay cash so no receipt, no bedside table, poor lighting in main room. We are very concerned about whether we will get receipt for cash left foe host. But had to leave for airport so had to leave cash in room.

very nice good looking host, great location, stunning view from the huge room, large bathroom and the bed was very comfortable! So far my best Amsterdam experience!

I ignore little things!

It was a great location for our 5 night stay in Amsterdam- the supermarket is 5 min walk away, there are couple of bike rentals around the corner. The Rijksmuseum museum is a stone throw away and a bus to the airport stops within 7 min walk. It is so central, we were able to walk everywhere. For us- a family with 2 kids, it was handy to be able to use the kitchen, which has everything you need. We stayed at the top floor apartment with the wonderful view to the canal and lots of sleeping places in it. Shehnoor is a lovely host- he made us feel at home and recommended some superb places to visit. We hope to stay in this apartment again soon!
