An amazing boutique 5* in Knysna with excellent location & view, beautiful rooms & common areas, exceptionally professional staff. Ros & Bianca have created a great place to relax and get pampered. Decorated with a lot of taste and love for beauty and details, one feels welcome and at home in the minute you step in. Tracy & Beauty can read all your wishes without saying, from welcome drinks, organizing the stay, a drink in the evening at the terrace, being there when you need them and even having the car washed!!! No wish stays open. Thanks again for the hospitality!! We would love to be back

From arrival until we left the attention to detail was impressive. We were made feeling "at home" with arrival refreshments and could relax enjoying the amazing view. Our bedroom was spacious, clean and very comfortable.
It wasn't a problem for us but there is a lot of stairs and a proper steep entrance to the driveway/parking. Someone with mobility problems might find it a bit difficult. I could not find any other areas for improvement.

This is an amazing place, from the welcome to the goodbye the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. We had a lovely two night stay in the Owner Suite with stunning views across to Knysna and breakfast on our balcony both mornings. Everything was thought of and all the small touches made an already unforgettable stay even more special. Thanks to everyone we will be back and recommending to friends.

The view from our room is marvellous. The property is at the top of a cliff and our room was on the top floor so we could see all over the lagoon and to The Heads at the far end. The shared areas are wonderfully tasteful and great to spend time in. The presentation of te bedroom/suite is luxurious and every item is delightful. The welcome tea, which was complimentary, was served elegantly with strawberries dipped in plain chocolate. This sort of detail is standard.
Stairs are narrow and steep but that is because of the clifftop location. All our luggage was carried for us so that we were not inconvenienced by the steps.

Villa Afrikana was delightful. They had amazing attention to detail, the rooms were so well appointed and comfortable and our view of the sea was amazing.
I cannot think of one thing. It was a wonderful property, and the service was exceptional.

A really really nice guesthouse! Staff and owner very friendly. very good breakfast! We would come again anytime!
the only tiny little thing that bothered us a bit: there was an other room above us and you hear every footstep quite loud. Luckily the guests went to bed / got up at the same time as us ;-)

From start to finish the staff were incredible and so hospitable. In particular, Blossom, Beauty, Tracey and team! We felt like it was one big home with complimentary afternoon tea and drinks in the evening. The breakfast was delicious and very generous. Everything was perfectly organised with attention to detail (you even get a free car wash and ironing service!). The location is perfect to tour Knysna and surrounding areas with a great view from the hotel. Could not fault this property or the staff - will definitely recommend!

Everything about our stay was simply brilliant, from the warm and friendly welcome to the amazing rooms, pool and exceptional service. Truly outstanding and what a luxury. We also had a great chat with Rossano and Bianca who run the Paradise Collection venues. We warmly recommend a stay at Villa Afriakana and only wish we had stayed longer!
There is literally nothing about the stay that we could find fault with. If looking hard and being hyper critical then I guess the only thing was the WiFi connection was slow but this is almost surely down to infrastructure and not the venue itself. If you have mobile data on your cell then no probs.
