Bel hotel, un havre de paix au centre de Chaweng. Belle piscine. jardins très agréables .

La marée était haute début janvier donc pas de plage au pied de l'hôtel. Il vaut mieux partir un peu plus tard dans l'année....

Ab ca. 9 Uhr waren fast alle liegen am unteren Pool und am Strand belegt, obwohl es verboten war. Keiner hat etwas dagegen unternommen. Es wurde auch überall (wenn teilweise auch heimlich) geraucht, auch beim Frühstück. Keine „no Smoking „ Zonen. Die Saufgelage von machen Deutschen und Österreicher am oberen Pool sowie am unteren von 10 am - 8 pm waren unüberhörbar.

Het strandje is fijn, je kan lekker zwemmen in een afgesloten baai zonder kwallen! Ligt in centrum van Chaweng, het is een erg luidruchtige en toeristische plaats, meer voor jeugd en nachtleven!

Ich finde das Hotel sehr schön. Das Badezimmer und die Toilette im ersten Zimmer, in dem wir wohnten, ist sehr alt und mussten dringend ersetzt werden. Nachdem ich mein Wünsche gestellt hatte, wechselten sie umgehend unsere Zimmer. Naem, die Dame an der Rezeption, hat alles sehr zufriedenstellend erledigt.

Das Restaurantteam war anfangs übermäßig freundlich. Nach einer Meinungsverschiedenheit mit dem Restaurantleiter wurde man in den nächsten Tagen vom gesamten Team ignoriert. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr unheimlich. Beschweren Sie sich nichts, essen Sie einfach, und gehen.

The resort lives up to its’ description. Unlike many other hotels that promise much, but deliver little, the Chaweng Regent fulfils - mightily. (Point to note, we’d booked another ‘4 star’ resort, 10 nights - looked great on the net, but was abominable - closer to 1 star: we checked out pronto, refundable or not) The Chaweng Regent is brilliant, central to Chaweng, expansive, yet peaceful inside, with multiple huge garden and ocean view pools, a nice gym, proper spa, etc, the resort is one of those places you’d actually be happy to spend your entire trip in - without ever venturing outside. It has a huge koi carp garden, the fish flocking whenever you pause to look. Huge smorgasbord breakfasts, it’s all good. All in all, great value. We’ll go back next time.

Very nice hotel! the room was very comfortable and there are two beautiful pools. the stuff was very friendly and helpful, specially May that helped us with everything we needed . will definitely be back.

I would not call it 5 stars at all it barely reaches 4-star-hotel level. We booked for 4 nights but we checked out after 2 and moved to another hotel even though our reservation was non refundable but it was not worth wasting our vacation there First of all we booked the family room that is featured in the pictures with a jacuzzi overlooking the pool and with ocean view but we were checked in a gloomy dark room with no windows, far away from the beach and with absolutely no sunlight. When we complained they said that the rooms are slightly different!! I understand that you may find differences but not to this extent, you cannot make me pay for a room like that in the picture and then give me that horrible room. Next day they moved us to another room that is similar to the one in the picture, and they were treating us as if they are doing us a favor and not giving us our right! The facilities and amenities need renovations and maintenance the curtains were old and worn out. The towels at the pool were dirty and torn. Definitely not coming again and definitely not recommending this place to anyone. My recommendations to the management: 1- they need to take better care of their staff so the staff can take better care of the customers. It is clear that the staff are not happy and it is reflected on the way they serve the guests. They are understaffed especially in the breakfast area. There is not enough staff to attend to the guests needs. 2- the dark gloomy rooms shouldn’t have the same price listing as the ones overlooking the ocean that’s unfair and disappoints customers and breaks the trust between them and you 3- the management should consider renovating the hotel rooms and facilities.

Great resort, clean and close to everything. Staff were so friendly and helpful, they even held our bags for a few days while we visited Koh Tao. Thank you May and all the staff you are amazing!!

Location. Staff always friendly, helpful, polite and happy to assist with anything asked of them.

Beds too hard . Pillows too few. Bed light fittings need repair. Wooden decking in some area of hotel needs a lot of repair.

The pool in the middle of the hotel was really nice and peacful and exuded luxury. The hotel itself is quite nice and looks how you imagine a hotel in thailand to look. It was very clean and the staff were always very nice. The breakfasts were good. The staff in the bar nice. It is in a good location to restaurants and markets and a 7/11 accross the road.

We were asked for 4000 baht on arrival to the hotel which is not document on booking.com as a requirement and after 10 hours of travelling to get there i was tired and not happy and i told them no and that was accepted and told i couldnt “charge to the room” which was fine with me. The pool by the beach was quite noisy. With unpleasant music constantly playing. I requested a double bed when booking the room and we were given a room with twin beds and they just pushed them together which killed the romance a bit by sleeping in separate beds for our last few nights in Thailand. The rooms are also quite dark. The rooms are outdated and could do with redecorating. The beach is not like the photos at all, it is very rocky and full of agae. (Photos attached) We actually spent our beach days at a hotel further down the beach called Baan Samui and paid 200 baht to use the sunloungers there. The water was crystal clear with white soft sand there. I will stay there the next time i visit Samui. I would rate this as a 4 star and not a 5 star. I have stayed in various 5 star hotels that are significantly better than this hotel.

The room with wiew over the Garden pool was the best for us. The garden with all the flowers and fishes and the seating areas was so lovely. All the staf was so friendly and helpful. We give five star to Noom in the reception and also to the guy in the garden pool🌟❤️ The breakfast was great with a lot of food for everyone.

The property and resort were beautiful. We really appreciated the food as well—it was some of the best Thai breakfast we’ve had in Thailand. They also have western options. The 2 pools were very nice to swim in, with one literally on the oceanfront and both with bars. We had a complicated schedule with several tours and flights but Boom at the front office was so helpful in making sure we could do all the activities we wanted while keeping our bags secure.

They upgraded the room from garden view to Premier room (very quiet with its own jacuzzi). Excellent service by khun choke and very accommodative. They took care of me very well. Must try is the escape spa , hot stone massage( better than other spas) in my opinion. Khun pam and noom at the reception was very helpful.

The bread toaster ( very slow). Pls change to new one. Bit away from beach

The vibe of the whole resort is exactly what we wanted! That authentic feeling of being in Thailand! The staff are amazing and treated our kids with so much kindness! The pool is awesome and the cocktails are even better! The mattress in our Premier family room was so good! Had some of the best night sleeps there!

The noise from the beach party at ark bar down the road. It’s so loud and it’s hard to fall asleep to when that’s constantly going on every night

Relaxing atmosphere and nice views. Both swimming pools and pool bar was nice. Miss May was helpful in resolving the issues but this was during check out and after already having complained to 2 other hotel staff members.

Room was not very clean the first 2 days. Fridge seal had mould and side table was filthy. Shower drain was blocked and toilet tank was not refilling. Large deposit was held on check in in case we broke anything which is unfair given the state of the room. When I initially complained I was told to leave a review!
