Rooms are spacious

Far away from the city, parking and spa for additional charge, gym is just a name - no weights, machines are brocken, breakfast is passable. Typical "tick the box" five star: on the paper all there, but the hotel is tired and need new live

The room was comfortable. We slept well. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and had a surprisingly nice time. We did not go to the spa, as our time was limited, nor did we order room service. The breakfast buffet was very nice too.

The hotel was on the outskirts of town, so there was either public transportation or a long walk to get to the downtown area. The hotel had a strange emptiness to it, and it also seemed to be a bit dusty. It felt a bit depressing. If I went to Vitoria again, I would not object to staying at this hotel again, but I probably won't choose to go to Vitoria again.

Room was very good. Spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Very clean. Bathroom very good too. Staff (reception and cleaners) very friendly and helpful. Check in was quick enough.

Spa was not included when in most hotels it is. There was no coffee/facilities and in other hotels there is. There was only 1 towel and hand towel per person in the bathroom. In that intense heat there was not water bottles, even 1. You had to pay for it. We felt that was missing for a 5 start hotel. I cannot complain about the hotel not being in the center as we knew before booking but you need transport.

The hotel has no soul !! the only refreshments upon arrival was in a annex, basic bar facilities with some people playing chess. No proper bar facilities, which we had last time we stayed, also the restaurant was closed no chance of a proper meal within the hotel itself. On the day in question we had traveled from Almeria some 800 plus kilometres to arrive to basic quality customer service and very little to be impressed by, one barman in the bar area would have made a tremendous first impression difference. With coaches, cars, and team cyclists taking out the arrivals entrance one could have believed other clients were an unnecessary inconvenience. Also worth noting that the lighting within the room was switch off remotely during the main portion of the night, so for one to use the bathroom facility was to say the least a lottery to find your way, especially for a couple in their eighties who visit the bathroom 2-3 times a night.
