Trotz der tollen Ausstattung finde ich 120 Euro pro Nacht überteuert. keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Bei den Preisen sollte es möglich sein mit Karte zu bezahlen da sonst bei einer Woche Aufenthalt eine grosse Summe Bargeld besorgt werden muss. Bett ist sehr hart.

The location of the property is perfect. It is right next to the beach - situated just 1 minute away from one of the sets of steps leading down to the beach. The views from the roof balcony were gorgeous and had great views of the water. The courtyard and garden were also beautiful to walk around in and spend time in. All of the staff at Villa Jacaranda were extremely accommodating and made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The breakfasts on the terrace were perfect, and do plan to order the dinner one night, it was delicious.

Highly recommend to stay here with Ajay and his incredible team! The pictures don’t do it justice - a beautiful, tropical green oasis of calm and style in the middle of Varkala. From the moment you arrive, the wonderful team are on hand to make you feel welcome and at home, always happy, welcoming, helpful and professional. The rooms are clean, beautifully decorated. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk down to the beach or into town for some food and shopping. Ajay was kind to recommend some excellent places to eat. His team helped with booking onwards travel super early in the morning and even provided a packed breakfast for me to take with me. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you Ajay and team 🥰

Nothing not to like, it was wonderful

This place is completely beautiful. The rooms are extremely tastefully decorated, as well as being exceptionally comfortable. Ajay and his team were very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was perfect. The experience of staying here felt as perfectly curated as the house itself, and I couldn’t recommend it more to people looking for somewhere beautiful and calming to stay, perfectly located by the beach, authentic South Indian food spots, as well as surf/yoga/Ayurvedic treatment options aplenty.

Villa Jacaranda is a perfect haven, a piece of paradise, carved out carefully by Ajay and his staff. The aesthetic of the rooms are Indian Contemporary and it makes you feel right at home. Every little detail is well thought out and only adds to the experience of a peaceful stay. We stayed in Room 4 and it had a beautiful terrace garden with an amazing view of the ocean, letting us enjoy 3 amazing sunsets. The service is impeccable as well. You will not be disappointed.

Absolute dream property, peaceful surroundings with a beautiful green garden/courtyard. I loved having breakfast on the terrace, spending time with Romie…just being at Villa Jacaranda. It is a serene getaway with a cozy, homely feel. Sunny was also very warm and accommodating. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and end my trip!

If Kerela is God's own country, then Villa Jacaranda is the perfect slice of heaven. We loved our stay. The villa is tastefully decorated, clean and it has impressive views. Make sure you book the room with patio/terrace. Also, sunny and the team were super hospitable!

perfect service and wonderful location

This place is an absolute haven of peace and beauty. We absolutely adored it. Every detail made for a delightful stay from the location to the decor, to the garden, to the view, the breakfast: all wonderful.

I would have liked to be able to arrange for drinks to be served and the option for arranging some additional meals would have been great. But really this isn't a problem. It would have been more convenient to be able to pay in advance or by credit card rather than only in cash as accessing the full amount required trips to 3 different cash points because of the cash withdrawl limits in India.

The place is well kept and nice, and our room was clean and a good size. Breakfast was brought in and served in a terrace that was accessible only from our room. It consisted of drinks (tea/coffee), a beautiful bowl of fruit, choice of eggs, homemade toast with butter and jams. We liked the privacy and exclusivity of having it on the terrace, but I also did not love that I had to keep the door of the room open for staff to go through. Room had good A/C and a fan, and another fan was on the terrace.. these were al really helpful as we were there in summer and the weather was very hot and humid. The terrace overlooked the garden of the property, which was very lush (we enjoyed watching the birds). The place is only a few minutes walk to Varkala beach, a 20 something min walk to the railway station, and even has a tuck-tuck stand basically in front of it. I appreciated that they had towels for the beach and rain umbrellas for us to use, and they also had a very convenient outdoor shower. Overall the place felt very clean and well kept. Staff was incredibly kind to us: we got a bad stomach bug during our stay and they offered to make us hot water with honey and ginger multiple times, and even got us some toast one evening when we were feeling too unwell to go out to get dinner and only wanted to eat something very plain like rice or bread. Wifi was good enough to watch a show without hiccups. They offered to refill our water bottles with filtered water.

we loved the cleanliness and the attention to detail. It has the feel of an old Indian cottage. Loved the friendly resident spaniel. Also, Beach towels were a nice touch.

Too isolated for us. we were the only people staying but we were still given the smaller room with no access to the garden - which is why we booked it. The room was very shut away.

I absolutely love everything about Villa Jacaranda 🧡 The decor is gorgeous, the breakfast is simple but great, I love the little details like fresh flowers in my room every day from the garden ! The garden is lush and tropical and smells divine. The view from my terrace is amazing, I have spent time watching black kites and fish eagles 🦅 that are literally just a few feet away from me. Romy, the resident cocker spaniel is my new best friend, we spent many hours lounging on the day bed outside enjoying the view. Sunny, the host is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The Villa is in a beautiful position in the quieter part of Varkala right opposite a great surf school that has a lovely cafe and they also offer daily yoga classes which are really good. There’s a wonderful Ayurvedic Clinic next door where you can book amazing massages and you get discount on all treatments.

Very beautifully decorated house and garden with many stylish details and thoughtful touches . We loved that each room had its own balcony all so pretty.. It was a luxurious stay and we hardly wanted to leave the property as it was very peaceful and even had a couple of resident ducks. The owner Ajay was delightful and very interesting to talk to. It was well placed for walking 5 mins down to the beach on south cliff and then up again to north beach.

A very climatic and super clean villa run by a very nice host who starts a day with a garden check accompanied by his friends: two ducks and a dog👻. Great breakfast is served between 8 and 12 on your private balcony. There is also daily supply of drinking water. Rooms,beds and bathrooms are super clean and equipped with everything that is needed.

Maybe mattresses could be a bit softer.

Good location - close enough to the beach but away from the tourism of North Cliff. Opposite an auto rickshaw stop so you can get everywhere easily. Lovely and helpful owner who provides an excellent breakfast (home made brown bread is yum!) Nice, clean rooms in an Indian homely style. Powerful AC. Discount at excellent spa 2 doors down.

Minor quibble that the sea wasn’t really visible from the balcony, although the surrounding foliage was lovely.

Probably one of the best places I have ever stayed at. The room, the staff and the location were just beyond expectation. Ajay and his team are definitely delivering an amazing service, absolutely beyond expectation. We will be back!

Breakfast was as big or as small as you want and gorgeous, from the fruit salad every morning and 'burji' (south Indian scrambled eggs), homemade brown bread, toasted to tea/coffee or both! The room was so tastefully decorated, with a mixture of Asian/Indian touches and European furniture. Fresh flowers were brought to our room everyday all locations, including our room, bathroom and veranda. Mosquito coils were left 'uncoiled' ready for us to use - little touches, but showing attention to details which makes the difference.

This was the perfect last stop for our trip. The gorgeous and well loved garden provided a beautiful backdrop to our delicious and generous breakfasts. Great location out of the bustle of everything, but all within reach. The beautiful little touches, such as fresh flowers dotted about the room and the miraculously self replenishing mosquito coil (to allow you to enjoy the space at all hours of the day!) made this place perfection. Ajay and his team are the ultimate hosts, you’ll hate to leave!
