The place was very clean and the facilities were excellent! Superb location for anyone wanting to go in and out to rest before heading out again. Close to subway and bus stops. Staff were helpful, helping to set up QR code for buses and recommending a bunch of places to eat/visit. Will definitely come again on the next visit to Chongqing! :)

Fantastic hostel if you want to socialise. The evening activities make it impossible not to make friends and have a good time. Staff are lovely and always ask how your days going etc, and the owner is always around and super accommodating! Highly recommend!

I came to stay here after seeing the recommendation of Lonely Planet. not a bit of disappointment. The owner is warm and hospitable it’s clean they all can speak English. it located in downtown area Jiefangbei. meanwhile They also have run a professional coffee shops. I had a best cup of coffee it’s best place to stay for me look a forward next time. see ya

The staff is exceptionally friendly, kind and helpful. The room was clean and quiet, restrooms were extremely clean too and soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry powder were available for free use. I enjoyed my stay very much, the coffee was good as well :D

The whole hostel was quite clean including the rooms, bathrooms and shared areas. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. They had nice balcony and a top floor cafe to chill and have coffee. The night view at the rooftop was great as well with comfortable washing and drying areas.

The AC in the room was not working properly and it was pretty cold in Chongqing during the days I was visiting. I asked the staff to try to fix the problem but they were reluctant to help at first, insisting that the AC's were new and worked well provided the freezing temperature inside the room. After asking for a change of room, he conveniently refused saying: "sorry this is the only room we have, the other rooms are for females (all of which were empty)". On the last night, he helped me change the room and the owner came and cleaned the air filters after which the room was comfortably warm.

Will was super friendly and has a great little hostel set up right in the middle of the downtown. When I arrived, Will sat me down and spent time creating an itinerary so I would get the most out of my time in the city. His suggestions were so helpful as were all the resources available in the communal area. All spaces were clean, organised, and the water was hot with excellent pressure.

As I was visiting in the middle of winter, it was pretty chilly, so the dorm room was a little cold!

The shared areas are great with a nice rooftop view. Filtered water. The hosts were very great and chatty, and the rooms well equipped. The location is also a prime place close to the food street and metro and very centrally located. Will return next year

A little tricky to find if you aren't a local and don't speak so much Chinese. A sign for the lost backpacker near by would always be helpful

Firstly, I would like to tell is that they accept foreigners and many foreigners know how difficult it is to travel during coronavirus times. Secondly, the manager of the hostel replies to your messages in time and he speaks English very good. He is very attentive to his guests and makes everything to make their stay in Chongqing unforgettable. Thirdly, the hostel is very clean. The bed sheets are clean, they provide shampoo and shower gel, you can also rent a towel if you need. The hostel is located on the 31st floor and they have open rooftop where you can see the view of the city. The location is great - just in the center of the city, there are plenty restaurants downstairs, street food market and very close to subway. I would like to say that in my experience it was one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed.

great location as it's very close to public transport and basically everything. Lots of restaurants around. Staff are super friendly and make you feel like home. Great view from balcony, perfect with a free coffee when checkin. Made some new friends in the dorm as well. Would love to come back in next visit :)

The staff is very helpful and they're so nice. They know a lot about the city and can introduce the best spots to visit. The location is ideal because it is right in the middle of the city center.

The hotel is hard to find as there is no indication outside of the building, and the building entrance isn't easy to see. But don't let that discourage you as the inside of the hotel is very cosy.

This place is everything you want a hostel to be. They think of every single detail (such as a good setup with hooks in the bathroom and dorm) which really makes a difference. The common areas are lovely, and it's not often a hostel has a view like this one. Will, the owner, is one of the sweetest people we have ever met, and so is his wife. He will tell you so much about the city and its history, and answer any of your questions. Really makes you feel welcomed. The hostel is also a great place to meet other travelers. So if you're going to Chongqing, stay here! You won't regret it.

The dorms were a bit small, and there was a lack of space for luggage. They might have luggage storage though, we didn't ask.
