Everything was perfect and staff were friendly.

Beautiful rooms with a lot of character

My only small niggle was the design of our bathroom meant the floor got very wet when we showered. This is a tiny niggle, though.

Magical place, beautiful cozy English style hotel, with modern bathroom, I will definitely stay here again! I loved the original wooden furniture!

This is a gem of a property. Beautifully finished to a high standard and offered so many amenities in the room, from extra pillow, to a fan and an ironing board. The room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast and evening meals were superb and the staff were incredibly helpful. The village and surrounding countryside is the England of chocolate boxes. Beautiful. Trying to find an excuse to revisit.

Very well presented room and ensuite. Staff all courteous and food very enjoyable at dinner and breakfast.

Breakfast was good, but would have liked more choice of cereal and more bread options than sourdough. Music in the dining room would benefit from being less loud.

Breakfast was excellent en the place looks fabulous. The room and the bed were great and it's very nice to sit inside but also in the garden

dinner took a very long time en nobody of the staff came to say in between that it took a little longer due to circumstances........everybody understands that. But maybe that day was een exception

Rustic, cosy, felt really homely & welcoming.

Our bedroom was above the kitchen, was a little noisy when they finished their shift. Breakfast was lovely, it did take nearly an hour from sitting to eat.

The setting by the river is fantastic. The staff were really friendly and efficient. The food , particularly the breakfast was great

Great location. Great combination of good room with excellent restaurant.

Nothing really but perhaps as as solo traveller might have felt more comfortable being in main building. Will remember to ask for next visit.

Little things which got sorted at the time.

It's a little far out but worth the drive. Lovely location and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff are very helpful. Husband enjoyed his breakfast, especially overlooking the stream.There is also a little shop next door which is handy.

A totally hidden gem, beautifully kept garden with relaxing flowing stream at bottom. Rooms very clean and comfy. Good food with plenty of choices to choose from. Reasonably price too. Car parking availability at back and free WiFi throughout. Staff friendly and so helpful.

There was nothing to disappoint…..

Very basic and limited breakfast choice however well cooked. Entrance to the cottage could be more presentable.

Ye old English, yet modern upgrades in the spacious rooms. Food was fantastic - and the fact that it was in Albury!

Nothing comes to mind - I wish we stayed longer and maybe they could add an EV charging station? :)

The staff were very friendly and the room was immaculate. I slept very well despite being on the road side of the building. Shower was great. All of the amenities in the room were of good quality. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

It's cheaper to buy breakfast separately than to pay an extra £20 for it to be included.

Lovely atmosphere in the pub. Nice staff. Rooms were in a separate building which was nice to create just a little distance but still feel part of the venue.

Very hard to pick anything here...would have liked a bath in the room....but shower was great.
