This can't changed. I wish the washroom is a bit bigger.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, position on a pedestrian street and a short walk away from many of the sights. We walked everywhere including the train station. The staff was super friendly and provided a list of dining recommendations, a few of which we tried and loved! The music bar was definitely the highlight. We ended up there both nights of our stay to enjoy the music and delicious cocktails.

We didn’t receive a second set of water bottles after the first day which would have been nice in the September heat!

The hotel has a great, relaxed atmosphere. It's chic, but the staff help it maintain a friendly, casual vibe. I think anyone would feel comfortable here, although it may appeal most to people in their 20s and 30s, or people who can make the most out of the record bar. The bar is certainly the USP of the hotel and is the reason why you would choose Kaname over the many other hotels in the area.

No complaints in particular. Aside from the record bar, the hotel and rooms are pretty simple and minimalist from a design perspective. If you like hotels with a feel of personality or luxury, you may feel like Kaname compromises in this respect.

The room was very comfortable and spacious with a wonderful view of the city and the mountains. The bathroom was very big and new with a washing machine. The property was very well situated in the middle of nice restos and cafe and walking distance to the castle, museums and garden. Service was exceptional and the music bar is a nice way to end the day.

I booked one big bed but they use 2 beds as the big one. the gap between 2 beds was uncomfortable.

The location was great, but more important was the hotel. The design is excellent, and the dj playing music is fantastic. Great sound! We really enjoyed the whole experience. Thanks to everyone there.

One thing I would add is a bench to put your bags on. It’s a small thing, but it would help.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, giving recommendations and directions in very good English. Everyone we dealt with was gracious and welcoming. They even provided us with a sheet of QR codes for various amenitoes in the area, and made a reservation for us in a local busy izakaya with wonderful food. The sound system in the bar is spectacular with vintage McIntosh equipment driving huge Westmonster speakers - the DJ produces clean, clear beautiful music of many genres. The location is great. It's a short walk to an old restaurant/izayaki area, the samurai district, and the fabulous Kenkoruen park, as well as the Suzuki and 21st century art museums.

The only negative feature perhaps was the absence of a restaurant for breakfast. Probably due to recent covid, the shops on their street were sparsely used, with a few still closed. There is a Lawson's combining nearby, though....

Great hotel in the heart of Kanazawa. walking distance to all the main sightseeing spots and close to the restaurants area. The staff is really friendly and can speak English very well.

We wish we had a closet or somewhere to put our clothes. We recommend hanging some shelves
