The unit was easy to find, spotless, and beautiful. It has everything you need, and the kitchen is the perfect place to drink your morning coffee surrounded by all of the windows. The hosts are very informative and kind. I will definitely be looking for this place again if I need to stay in the Seattle area.

Great location in Capitol Hill. Walkable neighborhood, only a few blocks to mass transit, great restaurants, nearby grocery. Very attentive and responsive hosts. Great property - lots of natural light, well appointed kitchen, fireplace, washer/dryer, comfortable beds. One of our favorite VRBO properties. Highly recommend!

We loved this place so so much! My kids did not want to leave. Very private and quiet apartment but so close to great restaurants. Owners were great to communicate with, offering many great suggestions and information. They were always quick to respond to any questions Apartment was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was just beautiful. The apartment had a lot of character, which made it very special.

We loved our family vacation in Capitol Hill! It was the perfect home away from home, and an ideal spring point for wandering around Seattle. We has everything we needed for a family with two children, ages 9 & 12. The home home is sweet, cozy and inviting. It was just the right a amount of space. The owners have thoughtfully provided so many things. Mike and Kat are wonderful hosts. We highly recommend this home!

You have multiple restaurants,shops,grocery stores within 2 blocks.Mike & Kathleen are amazing hosts, who really go out of their way to make your stay special.The apt is very well laid out, open floor plan.Beds so comfy.Kitchen well stocked. It was fun to explore the Broadway area. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Our hosts were very accommodating, even added YouTubeTV to their streaming service so we could watch Huskie football!. Kitchen was well stocked so could easily cook. The 8 stairs up to the entry were a bit of a challenge, but otherwise our stay was great.

We were thrilled with this place. It was quaint & cozy with plenty of space for 4 adults. There were 2 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms. We enjoyed the side patio with late night snacks & drinks. Location was great. The property owners were awesome with communication & recommendations. We loved our stay in Seattle!

The Perfect Rental in Seattle
We could not have been more delighted with our stay at this lovely rental. It is exactly as advertised: a great location, a beautiful, well-equipped property with every amenity one could ever hope for, super convenient off-street parking, and extremely welcoming hosts who were always available to answer any question we might have. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet, centrally located rental right in the middle of everything good that Seattle has to offer. Everything was very clean and well cared for. The outdoor patio was a sweet little cove to have a quiet conversation. The warm hospitality and helpfulness of the hosts was the cream on top.

Neighborhood is quiet. Grocery store very close. Found a great place in the neighborhood that sells locally made frozen entrees for those days you are tired and just want to relax at home.

We came to Seattle to visit friends and see the sights. This place was perfect for our family of 5. The location is great (walking distance to just about everything you'd want to see in Seattle). The neighborhood is great and has a lot of charm.

Wow, they thought of Everything!
We generally stay in hotels when traveling to Seattle. It was a choice between two hotel rooms or a VRBO with two bedrooms. Avoiding the usual haunts was our attempt to "reconnect" with the Capital Hill area. Our hosts were welcoming, informative, open to communication and information-sharing even before the booking. On arrival we were immediately impressed. The property does sit in a central part of Capital hill within easy walking or ride share distance from everywhere we wanted to be. As in the photo, the kitchen is magnificently appointed, thoughtfully stocked and appealing. Snacks, baked goods, and a bottle of wine awaited us. The nuance "little things" were all part of the first impression. The entire living space is beautifully decorated, tastefully/fashionably updated, while retaining the character of original construction. All one needs from music to wide screen TV with wealth of channels, gas fireplace, high quality furnishings, extremely comfortable bedding, toiletries, AND protected parking are all part of the package. This property is kept in immaculate shape, and the owners' rescue dog driveway greeting is a charming bonus.
Throughout our stay we had privacy, comfort, felt welcomed, free of "house rules", and left with a feeling of having received fabulous value. Thank you Mike and Kathleen! We will return.

Far exceeded our expectations!
I actually hate to write this review, as I don't want everyone to discover this wonderful home-away-from-home. Owners Mike & Kathleen have put together a wonderful place, and covered every detail: immaculate, sunny, charming, with personal touches, and a chef's kitchen. We drove down, and then left our car securely parked (included in the rental) - the walkability of the neighbourhood is an A+, and there is Uber for anything slightly further afield. The whole drive home had me planning our next Seattle visit, so we can stay again. We look forward to our return - thanks Mike & Kathleen!

We really enjoyed our entire experience with One Block Off Broadway. Mike was a pleasure to work with - fantastic response times, follow up to questions, and extremely helpful with tips and suggestions. The place was super clean, great layout, and has everything you could want or need. The location is great as well: walking to Broadway was perfect for dinner, grocery market, local park, etc. In addition, uber rides to airport and Seattle attractions was a breeze and close.
We could not have been happier with our stay and our experience with the owners. It felt like we were staying at a friends house the way we were treated from start to finish!!!

Mike and Kathleen are the perfect hosts for this lovely 2 bedroom with a great well lit kitchen. They gave us a bottle of wine and muffins upon our arrival, were available for any issues or suggestions of restaurants, things to do, etc.
Mike renovated the apartment himself and was very thoughtful with details and stocking the rental with everything you could need. The neighborhood was great, lots to do but not touristy. We walked all over. We cooked several times, and watched movies - they offer Netflix, HBO, Amazon prime all included! We had such a nice stay I was sad to leave. I don't travel to Seattle often but if I did this would definitely be my go to rental!
Mike even fixed the handle on my luggage that got broken from the airline baggage handling. Great people, great rental!
