The cleaniness. They have basically renovated a low cost house and make it so comfortable! Parking is with ease. Bathroom is very functional with individual exhaust fan. The famous nasi dagang stall is close by. Very suitable for a family. They have ceiling fan in every room and even the porch.
The bed. It is too hard, not the usual hard.

The property was nice, felt clean and everything was nicely labelled easy to navigate. They had a washing machine which was a life saver for us! Big hanging rack also! Great wifi and easy check in and out.
The towels looked clean but smelt funny. The bed was quite hard and we struggled to get a nice good sleep at night. Would recommend the host to add a mattress topper so it's not as hard. Water pressure was also a little low.

Everything you need is there for a jump off to Tioman. Clean, Great facilities, close to ferry.
You'll need to arrange a taxi beforehand to pick you up from this location.

Warned by the bad reviews of most of the hotels in Mersing, we chose this homestay and have no regrets. It is located in a quiet residential area the rooms are is very functional and very clean. We had lot of space! If you arrive by car, you can conveniently park in the fenced yard. The keys are handed over with code, so that one is very flexible with the arrival time. Small extras like the water filter system for drinking water in the kitchen surprised us very pleasantly. Unfortunately we could only stay one night due to our plans, otherwise we would have liked to stay longer.
For all those who want to continue to Tioman: It takes about 10 minutes by car from the homestay to the jetty.

A clean place - floor, bedsheets, pillows. A hot and cold water dispenser, eating utensils, clean dish cloth, dish washing soap, sponge etc. Room for two cars to park in the porch.
The water pressure was poor in the bathrooms especially the taps in the wash basins. We used the kitchen basin to brush our teeth. The wash basin in one of the bathrooms was leaking a little. This has been reported to the host.

We used accomodation just to sleep over before departure of the Jetty... very clean, spacious and secure. Easy check-in
Location was slightly remote, but with GRAB app it was only a 4 RG ride to downtown with a very friendly driver

The place was exceptional clean and was provided with toiletries supply such as toothbrush with paste, shower gel. Also coffee and and mineral water.
We were not notified before booking that .. the place is only accepting fully covid vacinated customer and told us to show proof a day before our stay. Luckily we are all fully vacinated.
Please be aware that this is new norm
