Great location close to train station and with views on the nature so very quiet. Excellent restaurant. Large room (30 sqm2 for the suite) with immediate hot water in bath and shower.
There is no reception so a bit challenging to ask for help as we had to ask to the bartender who would then try to find the owner to provide information. They could not help up to book any guide or anything for Machu Picchu.

Super lodge on se croirait dans la jungle amazonienne
Calme
Propre en bois j’ai adoré. Insolite comme j’aime et à 2mi. À pied du centre ville. Très bon accueil et la vue est top face a la montagne

Perfect place
Its a house in the city with a jungle feeling

Tree House is quirky and a lovely place to stay .. if you’re travelling light! Steep stairway to access. Close to everything.

Beautiful environment surrounded by nature and nice room made entirely of wood. Staff (Michael) was very nice and helpful. Wifi worked fine all the time and breakfast was ok.
The pillowcases were clean but with many black spots and some hair, we asked for them to be changed but the new ones were in the same condition. They told us they had a problem with the washing machine, so this might be a one-off case. The shower was in a functional condition but with several mouldy areas. There were a couple of ant colonies, one of them behind the bed so some of the ants were on the pillows. The coat rail had only 2 hangers. Toilet paper was thinner than the air at the top of Machu Picchu.

The staff were very nice and the location was very good.
The room was not good. You need to climb many stairs to get there. The room had minimum equipment. My bathroom was so cold that I preferred not to take a shower. There was no internet connection in my room. The sheets and towels were very old

We had to move our stay up a day due to local political unrest, and the hotel was quick to respond and very accommodating. Due to the circumstances, breakfast could not be served, so they discounted our stay! There was plenty of hot water with very good water pressure. The beds were comfortable with warm blankets, the bathrooms were nicely outfitted, and the rooms looked exactly as advertised. We needed a extra few hours for the hotel to keep our luggage the next day as we were coming back from our Machu Pichu tour, and they kept them as long as we needed and even let us grab some lunch before retrieving our bags.

Awesome view of the mountains from the room. Staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. Their restaurant is the best place to have dinner in the town. Room was very comfortable and I was able to fill the whole tub up with hot water.
Rooster woke me up super early but not really much you can do about that.

Our room had a nice view and the beds were super comfortable, was a nice experience to sleep in this tree house hotel
The beds were clean but the bathroom and floor quite dirty, I don‘t think the floor was cleaned properly in quite a while

The service was excellent! We got up early to go to Machu Picchu, but there was no breakfast yet. The kitchen staff had overslept. But the man at the front desk made us a really nice sandwich to go, and when we came back in the afternoon we got a complementary lunch. They really went above and beyond to make up for the (little) inconvenience we had in the morning.
The only downside was te rooster from the neighbors who was crowing the whole night. But there's nothing they can do about that

Everything went well. Even being met at the train station to have a walking escort was amazing. Made us feel safe and welcomed. Tree House Restaurant was amazing and breakfast was always delicious. I would stay there again.
There was nothing I did not like. Everything made our trip amazing-totally loved the Tree House and location.
I have nothing negative to say about my stay. It made my trip to Machu Picchu so extra special,

the room was absolutely lovely and the staff was really nice as well. They took our dinner to our room and they prepared us a bag with breakfast for the morning after as we had to leave at 5am.
unfortunately we just stayed for a few hours during the night so didn’t enjoy the location enough, but nothing I didn’t like about it

Restaurant was ok
Aguas calientes is a must stop to go to macchu picchu, we “slept” in this hotel as it seemend a pearl amongs the filthiness of the place, we had high expectations since it had good reviews and seemend very nice. At aur arrival we were assigned the “suite”, the room on top of the stairs. We were traveling eoth another couple who got assigned a standard room at the first floor. The room was completely full of humidity, stunk of wet and and all the entrance wood was rotten. Despite a heater and a de-humidifier (available in the room but switched off at our arrival) bed, blankets and pillow were soaking wet, so I asked to change room but the structure was fully booked so i asked for some dry blanket and the kind girl said she would have send someone to bring it to us but eventually no one showed up. My friends room was better than ours but stil full wet mattress. They asked for a full payment 3 week in advance out of booking. I got 3 days of fever after 24h we slept there ruining my last days in Perù. Restaurant was actually ok.

Breakfast was exceptional . . Especially how we had a specially prepared breakfast package to take with us on our early morning trek up to the Machu Picchu citadel. . .the reception desk was always such a warm place to visit with the friendly smile and welcome a thing, always so genuinely on offer it seems . . .great courtesy and thoughtfulness was the order of the day and it reflected even so, across the mood and vibe of our fellow lodgers .
Can't think of anything in this regard.

Breakfast was ok, but we were unaware what’s being offered: had to ask for eggs, coffee, juice…
Location is ok, quite high up, had to climb multitude of stairs, with lots of dirt and construction around.
Room status: very old furniture and floor quality in the bathroom and bedroom, smell of dump, mold.

The location, the restaurant, the view from the room. It was also nice from the stuff, that they prepared us a breakfast to go as we left very early for Machu Picchu tour.
Molds and moldy smell within the room

Such a lovely respite from the madness of Aguas Caliente. Tucked away high up in a corner away from the noise. The staff were amazing. Beds comfy and warm. Shower pumping and hot.And the restaurant was another level amazing. We were in the cheep rooms so no veiw and you can hear the people above you. But it was never an issue. (you get what you pay for)

very cute and staff was very helpful
lots of stairs and communication was a little spotty
