We had a wonderful stay, especially on such short notice! Nimal and his team went the extra mile to ensure we were looked after. The villa was incredible, placing you right in the centre of nature and on each walk to the restaurant, we saw beautiful birds and even a peacock! My wife and I were both treated to the famous Sri Lankan hospitality, as mentioned by our friends who visited this beautiful country and hats off to the chef for producing mouthwatering food! The chef even taught us how to make pol roti, a delicious breakfast item in Sri Lanka. We wish we booked more days as the resort offers so much! We will certainly recommend this beautiful resort to our friends and even come back here. Thanks, Wild Grass team for the memorable stay!

Beautiful grounds and secluded location. This hotel has stunning modern lodges with beautiful interior and incredible outdoor showers and pool. The food was delicious - the best we ate in Sri Lanka. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They connected us with a nice driver who showed us the area and told us the history with his exceptional English. House was okay, but not like on the pictures. Staff in the restaurant was friendly.

Arrived in evening, so we didn't see anything - we asked for the pool and the manager said it is ok. went to the pool. next day we saw the pool -was really dirty, you couldn't see the ground or your feet in there. the manager said that he has no chemicals for the pool. because of that we didn't use the pool again and wanted to stay in the room. not possible, because it was to hot. we know about the problems with diesel/fuel and the powet cuts, but they have a generator. we asked to activate it for using the AC but they said theres no fuel for that. In the evening they had fuel for everything. Room wasn't clean and they didn't cleaned it on the next day. On the second day we talked to the manager but they didn't do anything. It isn't how it look likes on the pics and for us there was no relaxing. For this priceclass this is not okay, also the marketing manager said this. They didn't give us money back, so we paid more than 430 dollars for two nights without pool (or deseases from the using?) and no AC. Manager was really unfriendly. Never again.

Beautiful property in the heart of nature. Our villa was just magical. A delicious dinner was served to us in the villa and we had breakfast on a beautiful terrace surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sounds of songs of Buddhist priests and drinking morning tea on the terrace surrounded by pure nature and watching the rabbits running is something I will remember forever. I thank from the bottom of my heart the wonderful staff of this truly special place.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Wild Grass Nature Resort. Our room had panoramic views onto the jungle, and was set in a beautiful, standalone building that was incredibly private and really made it feel like we were right in the middle of nature. The room was furnished very nicely, with a very comfortable bed, and everything was very clean. The food was delicious - we had a lot of traditional Sri Lankan food, which was superb, and there was also great Western food available when we wanted it. We were there for New Year's Eve, when the resort put on a delicious buffet with a live band, which had a great atmosphere and was a lovely way to see in the new year. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We can't recommend the place enough - we had a magical stay.
