The location in the mountains, between the weast coast and Oslo;

The location up in the mountains was great. The room had two sitting chairs and 3 (we needed 2) beds. Bathroom etc. was good. The common lounge area was comfortable and had wi-fi. There was a small set menu as a "cafe" which we chose, and later there was a dinner (which needed reservation) with the plate of the day. Excellent breakfast.
No wi-fi in the room (we knew that, but it was the only place we have stayed at recently where this was true). The view, considering the location could have been better - they should have built the rooms a little higher than the parking and reception area!

Superb location with views of the mountains. Facilities such as sauna. Wonderful dinners. Pleasant and always helpful staff. Easy access from the road. Hiking trails starting just outside of the hotel.

Beautiful location on the side of a mountain lake. Good breakfast. Very clean rooms, comfortable, cosy. Lovely sitting room. Very friendly and helpful staff.
