price is too high for what you get in this hotel

large bed with mosquito nest. when we first arrived host was very friendly but didn’t see her again

location was very far out so had to do a very sweaty walk to get to town. it was too hot and definitely needs aircon. overall just did not feel it was good value for money. shower was weak and cold

The terrace of our room was really nice and spacious, also the room was decent sized for 3 people. We also liked the breakfast and the breakfast area. The location is also good between Puerto Viejo and Cocles beach, and also in connection to the other beaches. Bike is really recommended, but you can also walk easily. The Italian restaurant that is across the street on the main road is excellent (I know it might be weird to eat Italian in Costa Rica but try it!!). We ended up staying two nights more than we anticipated.

The short walk that leads from the main street to the hotel could be lighted for safety reasons.

Nice small place. Lovely area for the pool and lounge area. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, the usual eggs, rice/beans and bread/jam. The bread was not usually to fresh.

The bed was really uncomfortabe! It needs a new mattress. The size of the room was good, the bathroom was not great, could definitly use a refurbishment. Only 2 hangars....and only one set of keys..which meant you had to stick together as there was an outside gate. The staff were not always there to help you get in.

I like the place. It was so peaceful. The stuff was so kind and friendly:)
