The bed mattress was comfortable
not a very efficient use of space for 2 travellers - needs a bench to accommodate 2 suitcases left open, a proper second towel rack, a second chair, tea making facilities could be presented in a better way - ie fridge moved from wardrobe to main room area where microwave/plates etc were located. The garden needs care and looking out onto dead foliage in a tropical environment is depressing, screen at entrance to cover power boxes would enhance look of entrance and The Cottage is not in Town, it is above the town centre accessed by very steep gravelly roads, not good when it rains.

Richard is friendly and warm.
The room is clean and tidy, his aesthetic is good,even the scene outside the windows is picturesque!
He consciously carried our baggage and tell us here is safety and if we have something need help, he is just living next us and would happy to help us!
He also recommend the market to us!

I enjoyed having fresh fruit and a quiet location
I found the bleach smell very overpowering and the cost of the room a bit high.

Spacious. Extremely clean facilities, beautiful large ensuite, fresh fruit supplied, tea / coffee & breakfasts cereal available. Off street parking available. Beautifully presented cottage. Highly recommend
If I had to pick fault maybe a blockout blind in the bathroom when the light is in. Otherwise there is nothing that I could fault.

Cosy, Comfortable, well appointed, and situated in a nice quiet area.
the end of the hallway is attached to the main house, and can feel at times not as private as I personally prefer, however you have a further door to close off at the bedroom, so not a big issue.

Lovely big bedroom& bathroom. Everything was super comfy. Really appreciated the little outdoor seating area as I used that quite a bit during my stay.

Richard and Aileen were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Their cottage is one of the nicest places we have stayed. Very comfortable bed, amazing bathroom and every comfort you could need while away from home.

Everything was clean & tidy and in good/working condition. There were little extras throughout which was unusual and appreciated. Communication was good. Overall, a great experience including the helpful host who had to rescue us from being locked out through our own fault :)
Not really a dislike, but an iron and an ironing board would have been handy. All other aspects exceeded our expectations.

a delightful cottage with plenty of room, good facilities, gorgeous bathroom, nicely out of the way but an easy walk into town.
a little more expensive than we’d expected for a night in Eumundi but this is where we’ll stay if we return one day.

It is a very cosy cottage. We appreciated most all the free items for breakfast. Everything is very clean. The communication with Richard was easy and he was very accommodating.We only stayed one night but felt right at home. We would definitely book it again when coming in the region.

The rooms were clean and well-stocked with all that visitors could need. Nice ambience upon entering. Loved the modern bathroom.
The only downside was that we could here the proprietor's children playing inside the house (the room is attached to the side of the house).
