A charming, traditional cottage in Normandy
Una escapada completa. Una casa de piedra situada entre la granja y los campos, esta casa ofrece paz y tranquilidad en un hermoso entorno natural. La terraza es un lugar perfecto para desayunos soleados de croissant de la panadería local y cenas a la luz de las velas o juegos de cartas con solo la vaca ocasional para la compañía. La cocina de piedra tradicional y el salón con chimenea de leña crean un ambiente relajante. El jardín es ideal para que los niños jueguen al fútbol, al ping-pong, al bádminton y coloquen carpas para aventuras durante la noche. Hay canchas de tenis e instalaciones de equitación cerca y parques de atracciones con karting, patinaje, trampolín, búsqueda con láser, escalada en los árboles y atracciones. Las playas de arena suave se encuentran a 20 minutos en coche en Brehal y Granville. Lugares históricos como el Mont Saint Michel, Bayeaux y las playas y museos de desembarco de Normandía ofrecen interesantes excursiones de un día.

A delightful Normandy cottage exactly as described. We enjoyed a relaxing stay with three generations of the family. The setting is wonderfully remote, so a car is essential, and there’s ample parking for three vehicles. Peaceful nights with no light pollution made for perfect stargazing. We’re already looking forward to returning.

The house at St Denis le Gast was perfect for a country New Year retreat. We really appreciated the log fire and comfy sofas. The house is surrounded by beautiful countryside in a quiet lane. Tom gave several great recommendations for visits and was very responsive to any questions we had.

It was a pleasure to stay at this delightful property and it was a true lay memorable experience. From the moment we arrived we feel in love with the house and its enchanting charm. The cottage perfectly embodied the rustic Beaty of the region, making it an ideal retreat for the family. We love the region and although the cottage was remote and peaceful, it was conveniently just a short drive to stunning beaches and amenities. The cottage was well equipped with all the essentials, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We quickly realised we had overpacked for the trip, we will definitely travel lighter next time, as many of the items we brought along, were available in the cottage. The garden was fantastic to keep both me and the kids entertained throughout our sta. with swing ball, tennis, table tennis and bikes.We loved every minute of our stay and cannot wait to return, we strongly recommend.

Overall the house was tired and old. Upstairs satisfactory. Downstairs kitchen. The oven burnt everything and the hob was uncontrollable to put to low temperature. The kitchen equipment old. There were no instructions for white goods. The electrics by the TV were exposed socket and dangerous . The house was dark and cold and we had to contact the owner for instructions to use the heating. The dustbin had wet old rubbish in so we couldn’t put refuse in bags in it and it smelt. Garden was overgrown and unkempt.
