Very good location, easy access to city centre and nightlife / clubs / food etc. Property comes right out onto the main road. Room had air conditioning.

I did not get a single good night of sleep here. I paid for a private room, and was given room number 4. The walls are made of thin plasterboard, with zero sound proofing. I could hear every conversation in the room next to me, and worse still… room 4’s door opens directly into the communal area where people sit on their phones or laptops at tables. This meant people outside my door were having conversations ALL NIGHT. Indian men on the phone at 4-5am constantly non-stop on speakerphone, people being loud. The kitchen has no open and closed hours, so people are cooking at all hours of the night clanging pots and pans and being loud. I lost my tether one night and opened my door and told the guy on the phone to shut up, it’s 4am I’m trying to sleep. He ignored me and continued the conversation on speaker phone, and as the reception is not manned after 9pm there’s nothing you can do about it. The staff do not wear any ID or uniforms so there’s no way to identify who is staying there and who is a guest, and their English is… limited at best, so explaining anything to them is impossible. I gave up after trying to inform them of something basic and just being met with a blank stare. To get to the shower, you have to go through the kitchen… it’s incredibly weird having to walk through the kitchen with all your shower things to get to the bathroom with everyone watching you. The cleanliness of the bathrooms is actually quite good, but being a tall person I can tell you they do not clean at a high level, up high was pretty gross and has never been touched. I presume the cleaner is a short person. Last but not least, there are zero fire extinguishers on the property. I know this is a weird thing to complain about, but there isn’t even one in the kitchen. Not even a fire blanket, nothing. This is almost certainly a legal requirement, so it’s pretty clear the owner isn’t bothered. This is a basement property with only 1 exit - the stairs. RIP to all.

Brilliant location on K road, an affordable place to stay, easy to find parking on a nearby street. Receptionist was very helpful and kind.

Cheap.

Smelly, stuffy room. One toilet out of 3 was out of order. Cold showers by the end of the day.

The staff was nice and the hostel has a good location.

No windows in the room and only a loud fan that moves the old stale air around. Very thin blankets and it gets cold in the night.
