We could hear the music from the bar located outside the hotel. Also, the coffee mugs were dirty.

Very central for everything, restaurants, bars, bus stops just a two minute walk from rainbow street perfect location. Clean room extremely comfortable bed, although there was no reception you could request extra towels, coffee/tea via email, housekeeping were around until 4pm everyday and would help if you needed anything.

The hotel was in the heart of the city and the bars would stay open until 1am, you could hear people leaving the bars and talking loudly, it didn’t bother us all but it may bother light sleepers. Also room could get a bit too hot, but it is Iceland and better a bit hot than cold.

It was a comfortable stay with clean rooms and at a very convenient place in the city. We also liked that we had a secure self-service bag drop. Rooms and showers were well-heated.

It was noisy because our window facing a pub drinking area at night. One other day, there was very loud drilling/construction sounds in the morning in the other room. There was no coffee or milk with the kettle which we thought was odd for a hotel.

Problemloses einchecken mit Tür Codes u.s.w. also auch für ältere Gäste verständlich und gut umzusetzen. Lage absolut perfekt! Zimmer sehr sauber !

Im Bad fehlten mir Handtuch Haken und eine Ablagemöglichkeit für Schminkartikel .

The room I got was on the 3rd floor, which was too close to the streets where drunken people were loud on the weekend into the wee hours. The bar below had a live band playing till 11pm, which made it difficult for me to sleep early for an early flight.

Location

Turned up at check in time, to find a dirty (uncleaned from the previous guest) unmade bed, cans of beer on the floor. Asked the staff who said they would be 5 mins and find out what was going on, she never came back, waited an hour in the cold lobby. Room was still not very clean when we got in it, hand prints on the bed head.

- Perfekte Lage um die Stadt zu erkunden und in kurzer Distanz zu Bus Stop 6 - Großes modernes Zimmer - ruhig (wir hatten ein Zimmer im hinteren Gebäudeteil in Richtung Hof, vorne ist es aufgrund der täglichen Live-Musik im EG Recht laut)

- die Infos Online waren nicht alle korrekt - es gab KEINE einzige Möglichkeit ein Handtuch im Bad aufzuhängen - ich erwarte nicht , das Hotelzimmer täglich geputzt werden, aber das bei einem Aufenthalt von 4 Nächten nicht Mal zwischendurch der Müll geleert wird ist schon unschön. Zum Glück haben wir unsere Schneematsch-Schuhe von Anfang an bereits im Flur ausgezogen und haben nicht das Zimmer betreten, sonst hätte es nach kurzer Zeit übel ausgesehen - das Angebotene Frühstück war zwar billiger als hier angegebenen, mehr wäre es aber auch auf keinen Fall wert gewesen: geringe Auswahl, welkes Gemüse, ranzige Körner im Müsli

Remote checkin and electronic access. Made it so much easier and no need to queue or find someone in property. Room fantastic with a great view - comfy beds and plenty pillows. UK tV stations and good toilets amenities.

Not a dislike but music on a Saturday night from downstairs bar can be heard across the hotel. We were in room 310 so while loud, switches off around 11pm. We were too tired to notice it however and had no issues sleeping.

Great experience over all. The facilities are great, the rooms are clean and even though there is no receptionist, if you need anything you can message them and they reply straight away.

I asked for a room with two single bed but I got one double bed instead. I could have asked to change it but it wasn’t a big issue for me. There is no designated parking for the hotel, but you can find cheap street parking 5 min away.

The room was great - it was very spacious, beautifully decorated (very modern) and very clean. The balcony had a beautiful view of downtown. The area was also wonderful - walking distance to many beautiful sites.

Not much to say here - the only thing is this hotel doesn't really have staff. It's self-check-in / check-out. They were responsive on chat which was fine for us but if you're the kind of person that wants a face-to-face interaction this establishment would not meet your needs.

The staff were unfriendly Housekeeping walked in twice while we were sleeping early in the morning When I complained to management about it they told me it didn’t happen because they didn’t see it in there system which made me more upset

Location was great in central area a close walk to many things. Did not eat breakfast at the hotel

Difficult to find front desk people if you needed help. I arrived early in the morning at 5 AM due to when my flight arrived. They don’t staff the desk until 8. At 6:30 the fire alarm went off. All the guests were awoken and came down to the lobby some had smelled smoke. There were no hotel employees there. The alarm continued to ring and no one really knew what to do. There was a phone number to call the management but nobody answered. Finally a guest got thru to the police who came and called the firefighters. No one knew how to turn the alarm off so it continued to wail for 45 minutes. The firemen finally cleared the building and a guest finally got the alarm turned off. Management finally came in about 1 hr later & were very nonchalant. Also I had asked for an early check in since I got there so early. The night before they sent me an email with my room number & a passcode to the door. So when I arrived (before the fire alarm incident!) I went up to my assigned room, punched in the code , the door opened & when I went I there were still 2 people sound asleep in the bed!! So NO early check in for me..kinda scary that they would give me the code while someone else was still in the room!!

Room itself is ok but the noise from outside (live-bar below the hotel) makes the glass in the kabinet shake (literally). If you want to party, the place is fine. Otherwise, chose somewhere else.

Fantastic location in a cute area. Really nice studio room with large bathroom. Super comfortable and safe. Loved it!

Parking. You can park for free after 6:00 but it’s very expensive during the day. We found a free spot over near the church and then moved it just before 6:00 (since everyone does the same thing).

The apartment was comfortable and well equipped.

We couldn't rest in the hotel, because from 8-11 p.m. there was a concert in the pub downstairs and we could hear the music and vibrations as we would be at the concert... unfortunately there was no one at the check-in desk and we couldn't complain or ask for the other room. If you are looking for a room, where you can rest in the evening, this is definitely not an option...

Great location, clean rooms, easy check-in

It’s a great central location, but across the street from a CRAZY LOUD bar that does karaoke. It was like all the drunk singers were inside our room. Maybe rooms on the other side of the building are better? And PS - it was a Monday night. Not a weekend.

LOCATION! The location is simply perfect. The top floor rooms have great views and the room was beautiful. A perfect place to stay in Reykjavik.

They need someone to greet tired travelers when they arrive in AM from overnight flights. They have a rigid, “no early check-in” policy - OK, but having a “store your own baggage” policy is a bit harsh. I am sure it is not intended that way, but it was somewhat of a surprise.

Very nice and cozy room. The hotel and the rooms are modern and very clean. The location is perfect to stroll around the city!

No hotel parking and the room was giving on the bar across the street (The Bastard) which makes it hard to sleep through the night since people get noisy and disturb your sleep.
