The staff were friendly and welcoming.
They had marketed their room as a bungalow with a pool and a view and the photos on booking.com give the same impression. The fact is only one room has this and we were given a room at the back with no view. We assumed from the photos that we could see the ocean from the room and the bungalow had a pool.
The rooms are also overcharged since they don't have basic amenities like a hot water kettle, the day beds outside were very dirty, and the towels were really old. The rooms also don't have a sea view or a pool as advertised. This was our first holiday after our traditional wedding and it was really underwhelming. They refused to cancel the booking and we were forced to spend the night there.
Afterwards, we got a hotel with proper amenities, had a Seaview, had a golf course, had a hot water kettle for tea, provided 4 o'clock tea with snacks and was still ksh. 5000 cheaper!
I think they should be honest in how they present the property and remove that no cancellation policy.

Located right at the most beautiful Beach in Diani, in a gorgeous lush garden. Staff were amazing, Johnny, Joe, Philip, and the manager, made sure we’re pampered at all times. Food was fantastic, one of the better restaurants we’ve checked. All in all, great. We’ll be back.

The staff is amazing, welcoming and very professional. The place is relaxing with direct access to the beach. The breakfast is outstanding and the hotel is decorated with local art and wonderful taste.

The property was amazing, we didn’t want anything too touristy. This was perfect, clean and well thought out. We wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The property is further down from Diani beach on Galu beach. So not many guys on the beach trying to sell things.

Amazing location in a quiet area, with a direct access to the beach and a beautiful garden The property manager Ceri did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Breakfast was excellent and staff very professional and friendly. A perfect place to rest and relax. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

it is located in a quiet strip, with very comfortable lounge areas in the premises and at the beach ,very nicely decorated, quiet, with few people around and excellent service .

Staff were absolutely amazing and so accommodating to all our needs (even when we were a little late to breakfast!). The breakfast was more than you'd ask for, we were full until at least 2pm. We liked that the fact it was a non-buffet style breakfast which meant the staff were able to customise to our liking and the food was always fresh. Galu is a little further away from the the main area so if you prefer peace and quiet with hardly anyone trying to sell you things on the beach, this is the place to be. We'd recommend hiring a car from the airport as it made it super easy to go back and forth on the main strip. Thank you Galu 723!

Beautiful beach, not many beach boys around. Very lovely staff. Delicious food and the chef was very good at cooking delicious vegan meals for us. Philip is a great guy making sure the guests are happy. Great location, far enough from everything for a quiet holiday but still within walking or tuk tuk distance to activities. They have a nice pool and a beautiful garden.
Would have loved to eat there every day but food is a bit too expensive.

Everything was absolutely PERFECT. Ceri and her team did a great job to make us feel like home. It's not often you find people so committed to bring hospitality to the next level. To top it all up, our room was right ON the beach and we couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect location. This was the most amazing finale of our Kenyan holidays and this resort deserves more than a perfect 10.
We liked everything. We felt very well taken care of. All was great.

Very private beach location. Our bungalow was only a few steps from the beach. The host was super friendly and the staff was helping and supportive. Tasty breakfast.
A bit off the good road and souvenir shops, no other eating options, but their restaurant, food was good, but a bit pricy.

Most amazing staff!! Thank you to Ceri, Philip, Jotham and John. This is a very exclusive accomodation with very nice facilities and a step away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Diani. It is also very quiet and intimate. We would definitely come back here in case we visited Diani Beach again.
The food and the chef were also absolutely amazing!
There was nothing we didn't like because everything was perfect.

Stunning, lush green grounds, beautiful private beach. Fantastic service, staff were excellent and so welcoming - they could predict your needs and provided the best tuktuk driver & taxi recommendations too. The chef is a genius, food was incredible.

From the moment you enter you are met with happy staff that clearly love what they do. They are welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. If you’re looking for a little piece of heaven, away from it all, with personalised food options in the most idyllic beaches there is, this is the place for you. The accommodation is of an exceptional standard. Beautifully furnished and everything so well thought through. Even their tuktuk driver offers a 5 star experience. Having spent almost a month in kenya and stayed in over 11 places this is the one that stood out to me and one I would rush back to I. A heartbeat.

Breakfast had lots of choice with fruit, juice, pancakes and a cooked breakfast being served. The beach was beautiful and well kept. The staff were fantastic and always available to help as required, they made a huge effort with our toddler to keep her entertained and happy which made a huge difference to us (especially Philip!) Single bed was made up with pink Disney bedding for my toddler daughter - this was a nice personal touch.
The cupboards in the room weren't clean enough for me - the wardrobe was fine but cupboards under the worktop and in the bathroom weren't usable. The rooms would benefit having some crockery available for use when booked as B&B or half-board - we were B&B but had no plates, cutlery etc for lunches. Sunbeds on the grass outside the rooms would also be a fantastic addition.

The food at this location was exceptional. Every meal was fantastic, and the chef was very flexible and met any request that we had, not that we had a lot, but he was flexible nonetheless. The fish was fresh every day, as was the rest of the food. So, SO good! Beyond the food and beautiful beach, the friendly and heartfelt service really was unmatched. We felt so welcomed and cared for, and everyone we met was genuinely caring and helpful. The beach itself is the best in the area. Not only is the sand and swimming area perfect, but there really aren't many beach boys to hassle you at all. A few might come by to sell a coconut or two, but beyond that, there wasn't anyone to hassle us. We were able to swim and play in the sand with our son without a problem, which wasn't the case when we walked down the beach toward the larger resorts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and plan to come back when we are in the area again. I can't say enough about it.

Very quiet location with beautiful beach (no beach boys). Food was lovely & well prepared. The cottage was really spacious. Nice staff.
Absence of internet at the beach cottage. Absence of menu for dinner (no starter or dessert proposed). Absence of mosquito bed. Rust on mirrors, lamps. Room needs to be rehabilitated. Expectations for this price were not met.
