The breakfast was very good. Also really appreciated that we could purchase a cocktail and beer and watch a football game in the lobby. The staff was very attentive, especially Arthur.

Hotel was located close to food and shops.
This Hyatt Place has absolutely ZERO soundproofing. We heard everything. The sounds of the highway traffic to being able to hear the person above us urinating in the morning made me feel like I was back in my cheap college apartment not a Hyatt Hotel. Doors slamming and people yelling up and down the halls added to the unrestful stay. We will not return.
Also, the front desk staff could use a class on how to properly communicate (smile) and greet people upon check-in and check-out.

the location to where I needed to be was close and the restaurants that were near the hotel was nice
there was no shower bench in an accessible room. I had to go buy one...

The hotel was nice,
Front desk messed everything up, cancled my reservation, so I had to get a different room than I ordered, charged more than the original price, I booked and paid for an extra day due to car trouble and when I returned to the hotel the door was locked and had to see the Manger before they would let me back in the room. They even made me show them the card payment before fixing there problem

The breakfast was delish and wonderful to have a hot meal that I didnt have to make myself!
The only negative, and this is being picky... is the acoustics of the swimming pool area was so so so loud. With five 10yo boys and a couple dads, it was deafening at times. A little sound deadening material would go along way except that it is rather humid.

Carmel is a very safe area. Quiet hotel, clean and with friendly staff. Big, clean rooms, very confortable beds.

I loved the location and the staff the first greeted us for our stay.
The room was not the cleanest, air unit extremely loud and little to no kid appropriate channels.
Took 10 min waiting to check out because no one was at the front desk.

We’ve been staying here since 2020 when we go to Indy for doctor appointment. Very nice facility just wish they give a medical discount if your there for doctor appointments

I was having surgery at the hospital next door. The location is excellent for that purpose. They also have a very nice indoor pool.
I could hear the person in the room above me quite easily.

the fridge in the room didn’t work and had to throw away all of our food.

Bed was not as comfortable as I expected. Loud banging pipes throughout the stay.

a bit loud the air conditioning. also you could hear the cars on the near by highway
there was a problem in the reservation. aparently there was a reseat and our room was double booked. so at midnight another guest opened the door on us thinking that that room was available... luckly i was awake and the person did not go in. Immediatly he realized he was entering an ocupied room.

The property was fine, but you could tell it was an older structure. the building had the strangest smell in the lobby and almost made us leave the second we walked in. the room was fine
there were two elevators which were definitely not enough, too many people using them throughout the day for it to be worth the wait. the hotel is also nowhere near the city center which is something to be weary of when booking if you’re coming to explore Indianapolis.
