stunning grounds and charming place

Country farm type setting.

Room was stunning and breakfast was delicious

There was no hot water to take a bath in your lovely bathtub. And no correspondence to know why we didnt have hoy water

It was conveniently located to where we were meeting friends. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and everything in our Garden Suite worked perfectly. The staff whom we encountered at security, reception and at breakfast were all very friendly and service orientated - thank you.

Beautiful grounds

Unswept paving and cobwebs outside room; garden very sad outside room; queen size bed is ridiculous for an Executive suite; bed creaked loudly with every turn; taps in shower shocked you; food was extremely average; staff quickly checked room was ready as we walked in and ran about switching the power on; dams on the property covered in a thick carpet of green algae; check out process was torturous - no record of booking; frustratingly slow and inept; feedback was emailed back to venue and no acknowledgement; sense that there is no "hands on" care taken and staff just keep the wheels turning....

The room was clean and a lovely size. The venue was picturesque and lush, except for the unsightly pool. Some of the staff like Prince and the wedding manager/co-ordinator, were very helpful.

The breakfast was dismal for a 5 star hotel. The table cloths were all full of holes. There were only 3 tables for paying guest to sit at for breakfast and because the hotel seems to think cyclists and other passers by are better for their business, there were no tables left for the paying guests to sit at. Perhaps the hotel should rather change to a breakfast and lunch restaurant rather than a hotel. The food was of a poor standard when you are paying 5 star rates. The pool was in such a state that I wouldn't be seen dead in it. One would hate to imagine what diseases one could catch in it. For 5 star this is unacceptable. I would give the place 2 stars.
