the hotel is on the main boulevard, the noise of the street got really loud at about 6 am

The pool has been closed for a while and at the rate work seems to be done will be for at least another couple of weeks. The web should have clearly warn potential guests. I made the reservation a few days ago when the hotel management already knew it

Location was generally good-across from beach. Our room was on the side and still had a bit of view of the beach. However, there was a dilapidated building across the street with a horrible looking swimming pool. Completely ruined the view from our window. Room was 314.

Were not allowed to use the elevator even though it was working. Staff put us on 3rd floor and we had lots of luggage. Desk clerk helped carry 2 suitcases up. But when we checked out, there was no one to help carry bags down. Did not like the view from our room as we had to see the horrible dilapidated property across the street. No restaurant in the hotel. No coffee in the hotel or in the room. No mini-fridge in the room. Lavatory faucet wasn't installed completely. I had to repair it myself before it was usable. When we went out for breakfast the morning of checkout, someone unlocked our room and left the door open, even though we told the front desk as we were leaving to please not allow the cleaning staff to clean our room. We had lots of valuables including laptop computers that we were concerned about. The cleaning employee denied opening the door but it was definitely unlocked and opened when we returned. The bath towels were old, thin, very small, and of a very low quality. The shower door was broken and difficult to open or close. The space were the toilet was located was tiny and very cramped. The room lighting was very low illumination. There were only 2 electrical plugs. So it was difficult to recharge our laptops and cell phones. When we checked in, the front desk staff tried to get us to pay someone else's bill, not ours.

Beautiful ocean view from the balcony! Nice pool downstairs. Our family really enjoyed our stay
