lovely place. lovely location. godawesome breakfast! overall.. the spread every morning was scrumptious.. and to die for! set us up for the day! just loved it !

The view was stunning the staff were friendly and helpful, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best they could.
The stairs were a killer, the light in the shower and toilet stopped working, there was no instruction manual for the oven/microwave, there were 2 single mattresses that we kept falling down the middle. Replace with a king or superking and it would be much better

Great central location. Generous but very unusual cut of the flat. People with a talent for handicrafts will be delighted, because there is something to be done at every corner. This is a great place to practice patience and humility if you are put off by the property management.
The following services agreed in advance deviated from the travel contract or the catalogue description:
1. there are NO cooking pots in the kitchen
2. there is no teapot / coffee pot
3. the cutlery is totally inadequate, there are 2 spoons, 4 knives, 4 forks, no tea spoons
4. the kitchen window does not close properly
5. all the floors have not been cleaned
6. the shower head of the bathtub is not present
7. the fridge door is stuck
8. the freezer does not open
9. TV without function
10. TV remote control cover missing
11. armchair in the bedroom is missing a leg
12. ceiling light in bedroom defective
13. ceiling light in living room partly defective
14. toilet seat in small bathroom is loose
15. light of the dark bonnet [cooker hood] is defective
16. veneer fitted kitchen badly damaged
17. transitional skirting boards are missing
18. doors of the fitted kitchen are hanging
19. mirror light bathroom partly defective
20. ceiling light bedroom partly defective
21. faucet in the kitchen is loose
22. dishwasher control panel cover missing
23. the coffee machine is missing important parts
24. gas cooker is without ignition switch
25. junction box ceiling light in the kitchen is dilapidated - fire hazard -
26. kitchen tap is loose and wobbles a lot when operated
27. microwave / oven is completely dirty
I reported these deficiencies to you on July, 10th 2022 and asked for a rectification in due course.
It was only after two days (July, 12th) that you could ONLY fix the TV's defect by accessing the internet and a Chromecast. After another three days (July, 15th) you only delivered to us a set of 4 cooking pots and a set of 2 pans, a set of enough cutlery. We also received a kettle. However, this was not necessary at all. Rather, a pot for making tea is needed. Another pot for coffee would also be very helpful.
Your handyman told us on same day (July, 15th) he will come back tomorrow for cleaning apparment. But he didn‘t know about the other claimend defects.

Location is good, not in the city center but still in a walking distance from everything
Most of it is spacious
When we booked this apartment reviews were good, but during the last four months declined dramatically, so before the free cancelation period ended, we contacted the owner to ask him about the issues that were mentioned in the reviews, and he said everything was taken care of.
We entered a filthy apartment (in check in time), we called him, and were responded indifferently that we should go out and come back after 4PM when it is clean (our plan was to get some rest after a long flight)
Coming back, it was cleaner (though both beds were double beds, contrary to what I texted, and we even separated the beds ourselves, so again, we had to wait until evening to get single sheets and make the beds ourselves, and again – he couldn’t be bothered with it), However, we realized that none of the issues that guests have complained about were solved:
Still no mattress cover and the mattress itself is disgustingly dirty
The chair still has only three legs
TV (very small) still has no signal
Living room has only 3 small dirty sofas and no coffee table, can’t be used by 4 people
Kitchen is very poorly equipped; some things are broken
Kitchen window still can’t be closed
No useable closet, all are full of old private junk, one drawer in the “master” bedroom has no bottom
The “master” bedroom’s toilet and shower are the passage to the room, so unless you are a couple that feels comfortable with each other – you can’t enter or exit the room if the other one is using the toilet
No hook in the small shower to hang the towel or cloths and no curtain to prevent the water from splashing everywhere, so everything gets wet
The freezer can’t be opened
There’s a smell of dust and mustiness once you close the windows
Bottom line: it has great potential but the way it is maintained just makes it unworthy. The thing is that obviously the owner doesn’t care of the reviews, so you just better avoid booking it.

We've staying in Amsterdam before. By comparison, this apartment is VERY spacious! Maybe we got fitter during the week, but the staircases up to the apartment didn't seem as bad after the first day when we were taking up our luggage. The handrails are thankfully very solid.
The apartment itself has great light and airflow. When the windows are closed, there is still faint street noise in the front bedroom. The back bedroom is very quiet.
Do be aware that the stairs are very narrow and difficult to negotiate with large suitcases. (They wouldn't pass our home country's building codes, but then again, neither would most of the Amsterdam staircases we have encountered to date!) We discussed what strategies to put in place in order to get a couple of heavy suitcases back down safely.
A mattress cover would be a very good investment, but the sheets themselves are clean.

All in all it's an okay apartment. Location is great and price seems to be good as well but don't expect anything fancy. the furniture has seen better times and the floors and walls clearly need a redo.
Sadly we had a little furry long tailed visitor 2 nights (not sure whether it was rats or just mice but we could hear them and found some of our bread was by them...)

location was around 20 mins walk to central locations. Very spacious apartment. light and airy with a balcony within one of the bedrooms.
extremely dirty. pulled back bedsheet and found a filthy mattress underneath covered in stains. broken chair with only 3 legs in the room which was unsafe. Luckily neither of us sat on this. shower in one of the bathrooms seemed to have a drainage issue where water backed up and took a while to drain away. There’s was a TV in the lounge but no connection. No sign of WiFi. Minimal cutlery and only one pan to cook with. Apartment in need of deep clean and decoration. several stains on the upholstery of the lounge seating as well as the broken chair.

Excellent location in a nice neighborhood that was centrally located.
We had an issue with no hot water our first night that took several unanswered calls to the host and one to Booking.com that finally resolved it the following day. There was no wifi info and we were only able to connect after help arrived to solve the hot water issue. The kitchen is poorly equipped with mismatched and very few bowls, plates, utensils, and no bottle opener. There was a broken chair in the bedroom. It’s a nice apartment but little effort has been put in to make it comfortable for guests. With some effort, this could be a really nice rental.
