Staff were super friendly, the hotel is clean and the location is great for all the tourist attractions.

The room was tiny and with no window so it felt a bit like a prison cell. The towel rail fell off the wall and the shower tap came off in my hand! The location is not great for going out in the evening but easy to get a taxi to the bar areas.

The staff is wonderful, and I am not exaggerating. They always have a great smile and treat you great. We arrived before our "check in" time, and they have a safe room to leave everything there and you can start your day in San Jose right there and then. The hotel is great and located in a great place close to supermarkets and everything that you may need. Regarding our room was big enough for the both of us and that is what we wanted because we were there for a couple days before leaving. Breakfast was delicious and they have their little cozy and warm cafeteria that opens until 6. (Note: their cakes were delicious.) We also noticed that they have contacts for tours and their prices are reasonable. Thanks Cultura Plaza for a wonderful 2 day stay!!! See you soon. Pura Vida!!!!!

In the room where we were we could hear a lot from the lobby. Like an echo. There was an opening (nothing dangerous just the way the building was built and it could be seen only if you put yourself in the lobby under it) between the second floor (where we were) and the lobby. People sometimes get excited talking about their tours and experiences, and we got to hear an echo. The good thing is that around 10pm it was gone. Ask for a room on a different floor or different from under the lobby. Otherwise the hotel is Great!!!!!!!!

The location was excellent! The staff was very kind. Even when we left the hotel at 6 AM, they gave us something to eat (it was the included breakfast, but it officially started at 7 AM). The sandwiches were not that good, but the attention was good.

The door-lock of the bathroom didn't work

It’s a practical and efficient hotel to spend one night but not recommend for more time since is very basic without windows but staff went above and beyond

The location of this Hotel is fantastic! It's in the central location to all major sites around San Jose and easily walkable and accessible to restaurants, markets, museums etc. ATMs and supermarkets were close by as well for any errands or last minute items. PLENTY of cafes or coffee shops around the area too! I got a free breakfast during my stay and it was a really tasty and delicious breakfast that was very filling and freshly made. Staff were friendly and helpful during my check in and check out process, a true Costa Rican hospitality! I was also able to store my luggage securely at the hotel after check out so I can enjoy a free walking tour that is hosted not far away from the hotel. (Fun fact: The hotel is right across the street from an original movie theater in San Jose and down the block from another famous building owned by a coffee plantation mogul!) As for the room, it was clean, spacious for a solo traveler and had everything I needed from hairdryer, toiletries, towels, TV/entertainment and a mini refrigerator. The bed was comfortable and cozy so I was very well rested from a long travel day.

The room doesn't have a closet or hangers to put clothing or my luggage so I had to leave things on the ground. I didn't have a window in my room, but it didn't make a difference for me, but may make a difference for someone else.

Great location, walking distance to most places. The staff is very kind and provided helpful infos. The breakfast is tasty, but if it was needed to leave earlier then breakfast starts, then there was an option to have a sandwich to go. They manage transfer to airport too on affordable price. Recommended hotel.:)

Location, location,location! Staff was a minimum of a 9. Everything is within 8 minute walk. As a medical tourist I was welcomed and as said 'I shall return.

Instead of a fridge it was a chill box that was at 44 degrees. Ice availability was at a premium.

Location is good to visit the city center. The room was clean, bathroom good with hot water. A/C worked well. Bed was comfty. No noise in the room during fhe night. Staff is helpful and the reception works well.
