We had a wonderful time and the property was exactly as listed. Our son caught a ton of fish off the dock. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a quiet neighborhood (great for long walks), and the house was perfect. The owner was so accommodating answering questions throughout the process and during our stay. We mostly stayed home and used the canoe and kayaks throughout the day because that was the big draw for our 11 year old grandson. The 7 acre pond is beautiful, and he especially enjoyed seeing the turtles and other wildlife. But there are water parks and other attractions nearby. The restaurants and carryout places recommended by the owner were perfect. We highly recommend this property.

My family really enjoyed our stay- kayaking, boating, nights on the deck with the fire-pit. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had & graciously allowed us to check in early & check out later. Would definitely recommend renting this house.

This property was just as advertised and the stay was even better than we could have anticipated! The hosts were incredibly generous, communicative and accommodating! The private dock with the boats was absolutely perfect and the kids loved the quiet water. Plenty of wildlife showed up right at the back deck, which also kept the kids occupied. The house came with everything we needed and the hosts went out of there way to make sure we had anything we could want, as well. Absolutely perfect stay!

The kids loved playing down by the dock, fishing and swimming. The upstairs was perfect for us and the baby who stayed in a pack and play in the loft. The downstairs doesn’t have AC but the breeze made it comfortable most of the time. Don’t overpack as there isn’t much space to unpack but we made out just fine. We enjoyed our time being on the lake and having this amazing property to ourselves. We were fishing from the dock, kayaking at the pond, tanning, resting, etc. There are few points that I want to share that might be useful for others: there are no AC on the first floor; according to the property owner, they will be installed, so you better check in advance if you are renting in summer. it was pretty hot and we couldn't even have the porch door open since there was no screen. The small dining table in the corner of living room doesn't work for 6 people, and there are no chairs for it too. So, having a meal together was always a struggle. Also, although the house has three bedrooms, the third bedroom has a couch, not a bed and there is absolutely no space to put your clothe. Two other bedrooms are spacious, and one of the them (on the second floor) has AC. Also, the kitchen is pretty small, and what was unpleasant is that all the cups, glasses, utensils had some residue, so basically we washed the ones that we need and put them aside so they wouldn't mixed with others. Considering that there is a cleaning fee, I was surprised to see that. The kitchen was fully stocked with various condiments: salt, pepper, spices. There was no blender, no biggie. But I wanted to make smoothies just for fun and didn't find it. I asked the owner and ordered it right away. We received it two days after, and it's size really surprised me: it was the tiniest blender you could imaging. Definitely not good for the party of 6:). So, to summarize: good location, but take into cosideration the above points.

We enjoyed spending time on the deck, and taking advantage of the many things to do in the area including hiking, white water rafting, and wineries. The house was as described, and the owners were responsive and helpful.

Highlight of the house was the deck by the lake and another deck by the house- two beautiful areas to eat a meal and relax. There was a canoe and rowboat, no kayak. The lake is small but beautiful and we enjoyed boating on the lake. The problem with check-in was that the owner had not sent me the code even though I asked him for it 4 hours before we arrived. We got to the house at 4PM and didn't get the code until 20-30 minutes later. Then he gave me his cell phone and he did respond to texts. The other issue was the water has a reddish tint, which the owner said was from iron in the soil. He did have many jugs of spring water for us to use but we went to the store to get more. We used the spring water for cofffee, tea, drinking water. Even though the kitchen faucet had a filter on it and the water looked okay, when I tasted it, it was salty; that may have been from the water softener.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hospitality from the owner was wonderful. They gave us many suggestions for local attractions and the amenities at the house itself were plentiful. It was great to be able to entertain and relax with family and friends who rented nearby homes. This is a property that we would love to rent again sometime. We can’t thank them enough for making the start of 2020 a great experience.
