The house was even nicer than we expected! Great location - walkable to beach and a very short drive to restaurants and shopping. We had not been to South Haven previously and were so charmed by this quaint little town. When we arrived the neighbors were out and filled us in on beach accesses, dinner suggestions etc. Would absolutely stay here again - clean, kitchen well equipped, bed and linens comfy. Only complaint is that there was no bath soap in the showers. Have usually found a small bar in our VRBO's. Not a big deal - need to better plan ahead! Thanks for a great stay.

This was our second time staying at the Oak Street Beach House and we loved it just as much the second time around. The home was very clean and the neighborhood is beautiful! Our son loves the outdoor shower! We will definitely be back for another memorable South Haven vacation.

My family and I stayed at the Oak Street Beach House for 7 nights and had a wonderful time! The house was perfect. My family consisted of my parents (74 and & 77) 4 adults in their 40s and a 7 and 9 year old and we had plenty of room! The house is spacious and decorated so cute with a beach theme. The house has everything you possibly could ever need. All kitchen gadgets and cookware, plenty of bathroom towels, Roku, and cable. Plenty of hooks in the bathroom and hallway for towels and swimwear for 8!! There is a washer and dryer to use as well. Every possible beach item you could think of they offered. 3 bags of sand toys, 7 great breach chairs that you can carry on your back, 3 umbrellas, and a heavy-duty beach wagon! The outdoor seating had plenty of seating for all 8 of us. The beds were super comfortable with extra blankets if needed. John was a great host! Answered all my questions and was very prompt to respond. The beach is literally half block away. My parents were able to do the walk with no problem. (Walking in the sand was another story. lol) One suggestion- the sink area is small in the hall bathroom. I might suggest a small table next to the toilet for guests to use for bathroom bags. We just moved the décor from the bottom shelf and used that. John- Thanks for a great stay! Your place was perfect! If we ever return to South Haven we will definitely stay at the Oak Street Beach House. It met all our needs!

Worked for a family of five to get downtown and to the beach.

We've been vacationing in South Haven for four years now and keep hopping around different places. This year we finally found one that is a perfect for us and can't wait to go back!

We had a fabulous time at this comfortable home just a block from the beach! We hope to return next summer!
