Beautiful property and felt safe!!!

Everything was great!

Very spacious house, in a secluded location in the forest but still close to town and to the attractions in San Ignacio. Support form hosts was very good.

Furniture needs a bit of care and renovation... The sofas in the living room are covered in what looks like old sheets and that doesn't feel welcoming... Kitchen cabinets look somewhat old and smell a bit... Water tank was not very big so we had to wait a bit, after one shower, for the water to get warm again, but no big deal... Overall it was a nice stay.

Great location for us to explore Tikal, Xunantunich, Carocal, Cahal Pech, ATM Cave. We had our own SUV. The entrance road seemed a bit daunting at first, but by the end of our stay seemed normal and in line with most of the side roads in the area. The villa attached to ours was not occupied, so we enjoyed the privacy in the jungle setting and felt very safe with a gated entrance and fencing all around. The first night we heard howler monkeys nearby. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot, wifi was great for streaming. We shopped for groceries at Helen Market five minutes away.

Nothing - was perfect for our exploration of the area.

Very helpful concierge service, nicely furnished and comfortable, friendly neighborhood dogs.

Villa is 1/2 mile down a rough road, a little hard to find. Kitchen was sparsely equipped, could have used a few more glasses, etc.

Host was really amazing. Great stay!

Nice duplex. One of 2 - 4 total apartments. Pretty landscaping. Security gate on the driveway. The "greeter" was awesome - he did his best to make everything right! Our tours with Belize Family Adventures somehow got to us and took us both days from the house to the tours - huge help. Cute dogs hanging out on the porch. Big pitcher of drinkable water provided. Once you get back off the dirt road, it's a quick drive to restaurants.

VERY remote, no wifi for all but 1 night, over a mile of unpaved very rough road to get there. Being so out of the way I was uneasy having no communication means. There was nothing in walking distance - at the end of the unpaved roads was a gas station that closed at 9 pm. It's a short drive once you get to the paved road, but you need to be comfortable with being very removed. Minimal supplies - 1 roll TP per bathroom, no trash cans or liners, no dishwasher or coffee pot.

We could only find the location with Maps (Google couldn't find it). It was a beautiful villa nestled into the jungle. Gated and secure. Dave, our host, waited for us, and then helped us contact our tour guide for our 7:30am pickup.

It was a little disconcerting to drive past a junk yard, on a dirt road to get to the villa. Not bad, just created some doubt that we were going to the correct place. You have to deal with large ants in the main room in the evenings. Don't leave any food out. No ants in the bedrooms though.

We spent two nights on leisure and I must say everything was excellent. The location of the villa is very close to the scenery. It was private and spacious, we felt completely safe in the villas. The porch has the best view of the garden and natural scenery.
