I loved everything. the surrounding land is beautiful and quiet. The landscape around the property is very well maintained and the sunrise and sunset from the balcony were gorgeous.

everything was wonderful, at first I thought that people could see in to the shower part so I wanted more privacy but you can’t actually see into it and the natural light is nice.

the stunning view, the big bathroom, the swimmingpool, the surrounding garden, the fact it was very close to San Ignacio.

the atmosphere and decoration inside the house (very old stuffs everywhere giving a feeling of dust and darkness). the beds and bedsheets/pillow were also of another age and not very engaging. Stray cat making noise all night long making it impossible to sleep.

This place is phenomenal. The pictures do NOT do it justice. There must be some magic in the walkway up to the door because I just felt all of the stress and tension in me start to fade away as I approached.

Huge chefs kitchen with anything you could need. Outstanding view at the top of a hill on a private 175 acre lot. Howler monkeys on the property. Large living room.

Linens are a bit old. Tattered towels. Bed and pillows adequate.

This vacation home was absolutely stunning - a total paradise! It was only 5-10 minutes from San Ignacio town and close to other attractions such as Xunantunich. There are grocery stores and a gas station very close by as well. The house itself was beautiful. It had everything you could possibly need and is huge. The deck is incredible - it was so relaxing to sit on the swing or by the pool overlooking the beautiful jungle and countryside. It's hard to describe with words how amazing the deck is. It was really hot during our trip, so we looked forward to returning to the home in the afternoons at the hottest part of the day to relax and enjoy the house and deck. We have two kids and they loved it as well - it was nice having our own private pool so they could go swimming and the house was so large that they had plenty of space to play. The house is well set up with the pool leading directly to the master bathroom so post-swimming was really easy. The chef's kitchen is incredible as well. Dave and Vero from Vacasa were very helpful and always available whenever we needed anything. Any time we contacted them they always replied right away. It was nice to have Dave meet us at the property when we arrived to orient us. As well, we arrived a bit late due to a flight delay and they had reached out to us to make sure we were ok - which we really appreciated!

The road leading to the property is annoying to drive on, but thankfully it's a very short ride (3-4 minutes). The pool is very cold - it's fine during the day when it's very hot, but in the evening the water was too cold to swim in.

Amenities were amazing. The view is suburb!!

This was the best property we have ever scored as a rental. I would book it over and over again if in the area. It is amazing! Chef's kitchen, swimming pool, comfortable beds, huge patio with mosquito nets available, washer, bathroom to die for.

Nothing the host can do anything about - the road leading to it really needs work. You have to have a four wheel drive vehicle. However, they have nothing to do with it. And it just helps keep it private.
