The apartment was complete with all needed facilities, and its owner was very welcoming and helpful. Absolutely worth the price! :)

This simple apartment consists of a living/dining room with a built-in kitchenette and two double bedrooms. The living room has no windows at eye level, but only two small high-lying openings in the rear area for ventilation. Due to the location of the property, this also has advantages in midsummer, as the room cannot heat up. Since the apartment is in a side street in the upper part of the old town of Sciacca, there are hardly any disturbances at night. The owner is very friendly and surprised me with olives and countless oranges, which I couldn't eat all of during my three-day stay. Thank you again for the practical tips on how to get here!

Lovely place. Simple with old time furnishings but absolutely adequate. Two good sized bedrooms, Good facilities in the kitchen and a spacious dining/sitting area. I really liked it here. The host was very helpful and attentive.

Nothing dislikeable!

It is very central and close to everything else (if you don't mind walking upwards for a little bit on the way back), it has all the facilities you need (including airconditioning and a washing machine), and last but not least, a very kind host! Also, Sciacca is a relatively small but beautiful place with a variety of things to do for all different kinds of vacation goers. Feels quite authentic, too.

It is an old style Italian apartment close to the historical center of the city. The furniture is a bit old but comfortable. There is a very nice pizzeria, bar and an ice cream shop in the square. The pizzeria is very satisfactory. It was one of the top 5 (maybe the best) pizzas I ate in Italy. There is also a public market in the square. If you go there on saturday you can buy some very good quality local food with surprisingly low prices from the food market behind Castello dei Luna. Even it is not so close to the city center it is easy to reach to the city center by foot. It is a small city. The centrum is in the downside of the hill and the streets are very narrow in that part of the city. So, this apartment is a very nice option if you go there by car. It is far from the beach. Actually the beach is far from the city. It is not possible to reach there without a car. Guiseppe is a very kind old man. He is a typical Sicilian senior. He took me from the bus station with his car and brought me some fresh fruits from his garden. It might be difficult to communicate with him without italian. He very well represents local people. He also explained me why he hosted those guests at his home. Because he is an old man, he is not fully able to manage the reservation of b&b and somehow the apartment was booked by different guests then he hosted two of them at his home. I did not have any problem. In summary I can say that it was one of my best b&b experiences in Italy. The apartment is comfortable enough and the owner is a very nice local senior.

The property was in different location than the one you find on booking maps. The owner called me days in advance telling me he had problems with the accomodation at the address stated on booking and that he could place us in a different location a little out of Sciacca. Well the little out is not even on the maps... it is plain country and we would not be able to find it if he did not take us there. This is one thing, the other one is no air conditioning (he called me 1 day in advance). The pictures are correct, that is the place, but believe me if I tell IT IS A FROD. The house is not clean (not even in covid period), it is a part of the house he lives in, so you do not have so much privacy. The bathroom was unberable, but fortunately we stayed for one night only and at 6:30 of the day after we were on the road already. We have travel across the world but this time we were quite scared of the place, and we travelled Mexico, Perù, Jordan, Seichelles, Colombia, Iceland, Cuba... so not the 5 star hotel kind of person. DO NOT BOOK HERE - IT WILL RUIN YOUR HOLIDAYS

Check out was meant to be at 10:00, whereas the owner was waiting from me outside the main door from 08:00, no wi-fi, no flexibility.
