We loved the house and location; beautiful sunrises and sunsets always. Plenty of room for our guests!
What we didn't expect though was the last week of 24/7 beach dredging and reshaping which closed the beach directly in front of us. Fortunately, it reopened on our last day so we could enjoy a final beach walk....my happy place. A few maintenance issues were addressed promptly by the very helpful staff. Would stay at Paradox again.

The house was VERY well cleaned and the towels and bed linens appeared to be very well laundered.
We experienced a few minor issues (a refrigerator set on the coldest setting wasn’t cool inside, trash cans were left completely full without instructions related to garbage services, and a bedroom tv was not working properly) but responses to our text inquiries were immediate and two of the three problems were resolved quickly.
The views were absolutely beautiful even on overcast days and we were fortunate to experience multiple sightings of dolphins in the waves.
The dedicated ice maker was a bonus that we took full advantage of.
It would be helpful (especially for our older group members) to have a printed copy of the checkout instructions and property expectations. These printed instructions have been included with every other rental in the past (usually posted on the kitchen countertop or on the fridge) and we have come to rely on that.
Some of our group noticed the picturesque spiral staircase appeared a bit unstable but they ascended one at a time and seemed mostly unphased by it.
There are some minor deck maintenance items that will probably need to be addressed- lots of rusty broken nails and loose boards- but most of us didn’t notice and the railings all seemed secure.
The most trouble we had was with the dishwasher. Pre-rinsed dishes came out looking unwashed multiple times. During the last couple of days it didn’t release the detergent pod properly and entire loads of dishes had to run a second and third time.
Overall this was a fantastic vacation in an open, gorgeous house with a fully stocked kitchen in a great location. We look forward to booking another stay in the future!

This home is gorgeous. Very clean. Very nice. Beautiful beach view and lagoon views from every room and window. Only complaint was that the shower attached to loft was not accessible. Bring blowdryer because there are none.

Large kitchen and dining table to accommodate our big group! Pretty well stocked kitchen. Large Bedrooms with in suite bathrooms with separate spaces for kids to nap and relax. Highly recommend

This was definitely the best beach house we have ever stayed in. So clean, very well decorated and a fully stocked kitchen. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and they were so spacious. The beds were so comfortable!! It is an easy walk to the water and the view was gorgeous. You did have to be on the second floor to see the shoreline because the sand dunes were very high but we didn’t mind.
We felt as if we were on a private beach because the houses are spaced a good distance apart and we could completely spread out with our tent and volleyball net. We highly recommend staying at this beach house!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful two weeks here. The location was exactly what we hoped for and spending time at the beach was glorious. We also had ample inside space for our four generations to be together and apart when needed. We appreciated having seating for everyone at mealtimes! Many games were played and everyone slept well also. We saw dolphins multiple times daily and that was an unexpected bonus!

The home was perfect for four families consisting of 16 total guests. Home is well furnished and the beds are comfortable. The decks, views and beach were spectacular. I highly recommend this home without reservation.

I was able to find this property for our six couple trip. All six couples told me that this was the perfect place for our get together. We were right on the beach. The back wall of windows allowed us to view the beach from the house. The place was clean and no “surprises” meant that our stay was fantastic. I would highly recommend this property.

Our group of six women found this huge house to be perfect for a golf trip to Gulf Shores. Each of us liked that the house had six separate bedrooms complete with their own bathroom. The house was clean, had plenty of towels (although more kitchen towels are recommended), has lovely views, it is quiet, and has easy access to the beach.

The house was clean and spacious with plenty of room for our family of 8. Easy to find, quiet location. Nicely decorated with beautiful views. Very peaceful. We were there in January and had great weather, but we were the only people on the beach. Really enjoyed our stay.

Plenty of room for everyone to spread out or come together. The kitchen was very well equipped - loved the two refrigerators! We definitely plan to stay there again!

We enjoyed the stay. There is a loud clunk when the HVAC kicks on /off.
Every 10-15 minutes. We were sleeping in the back right BR on the main floor. Need to check that out.
One of the refrigerators didn't work when we arrived. I was replaced a few days later.
Otherwise the house appeared to have been recently refurbished. New paint, floors, appliances, bathrooms. Very nice.

I stayed at this property with a group of friends in August. It was beautiful and perfect for our group of all adults, with 6 bedrooms, no bunk beds, and 7 bathrooms. Every bedroom has its own bathroom! The downstairs living area is open and spacious, with a large deck facing the ocean and stairs right down to the beach. 4 of the 6 bedrooms are on the ocean side and have access to the deck. The kitchen has 2 full size fridges plus a separate ice maker, which was clutch. We have come to Gulf Shores many times and this is probably the best house we've stayed in yet. It's farther west from the town of Gulf Shores, so wasn't as conveniently located to the stores and restaurants (not walking distance), but was very quiet and private, since the houses are more spaced out in that area with the lagoon on the other side. We loved this place and would stay again!

The inside of the house has been recently renovated and is nicer than the pictures showed when we booked it. Plenty of space to accommodate larger groups. Awesome private beach

Size was perfect. Very helpful when we called management. Like having a private beach. Negatives were little fruit flies type bugs, toilet seat broken, no hand towels (asked for them, got wash cloths), need more than 2 outdoor garbage cans (especially for 17 people) left refrigerator not working properly, would like to have had an instruction sheet telling us what days are garbage pickup, rules about not leaving canopies on the beach at night etc. I would have liked bathroom bars in the tub/shower since I am an elderly person. Overall, it was a fantastic place for our large family and we have made wonderful memories to cherish for a long time.

The dishwasher did not work but a repair man came out and looked at it immediately. I’m very pleased with Vacasa as well! They sent text messages to me about check-in and check out. Communication with Vacasa was easy and effective!

This is the reason for the 4-star Overall rating rather than giving a 5-star Overall rating. But, that is a minor issue and does not deter us from staying there again.

This was our second year for a reunion with high school classmates in Gulf Shores. The home we rented had plenty of room and a great layout. The basic necessities were provided and all of the interior appliances were working fine. The interior furnishings were what would be expected for a nice beach rental. However, we did have to kill several roaches while there, which was a little less than desirable. Also, the bannister on the exterior patio on the very top floor of the home was minutes from falling off to the beach below- very dangerous with big potential liability. The screen was hanging from one part of the outdoor patio where it had been torn so the "screened in patio" was not really screened in. Overall, we had a great time and would not necessarily opt NOT to rent this place again because it met our basic needs. However, it is definitely in need of some TLC.
