Clean and quaint mountain cabin. Cute decoration.

With 8 people the septic system got sluggish. The microwave did not work. The deck and outside furniture could have been a little cleaner. Overall it is a nice place to stay.

Host was friendly. Nice mountain scenery; fireplaces and covered porches were nice. Shower water was hot but didn't last too terribly long. I seen 2 reviews stating the shower water wasn't hot enough. I can assure you, this has been fixed and that's coming from someone who likes really hot showers.

Cleanliness! I'm not picky and I'm definitely not fancy and even pretty tolerant to facilities not being updated, etc., but things like clean sheets, pillows, drapes and curtains, and even carpet are fairly easy to maintain. One bed had dirty sheets so we washed them and found a pee stained mattress cover! Pillows on the bed were yellow and looked like they had be peed on yet there were new looking pillows in the drawer! The curtains/ drapes from the front door, kitchen window, and large windows next to dining table were all stained. With the exception of the sheets, everything was white! It would be nothing to clean all of them with some bleach and get the stains out. The carpet had several pee stains from past pets. The pillows on the couch were dirty and had stains. There was even a dust covered filter from the AC/ heat unit sitting on the floor! I mean it would've been nothing to clean these things. Wish I could post pictures because I have them all! Also, beds listed as queens were definitely fulls. Steps going downstairs to the bedroom with the king size bed were VERY steep and definitely not for everyone. Absolutely no cell service what so ever, no house phone. Sure hope no one ever has an emergency and needs to call 911. I get that you're in the mountains and service is spotty, but we had AT&T and Verizon and neither had any service at all, just the circle with a line through it. With no wifi available, you should at least have a house phone in case of emergency. Also, the front door lock wouldn't work half the time when trying to lock it with the key from the outside. Another easy fix.

The down stairs breakers kept tripping if you had the heater on and light so everything kept shutting off and the water in the shower on the main floor didn't get hot also the bed were uncomfortable also only 2 channels on the TV

Private. Overall look and layout of cabin. Covered porches. Great location!

Carpet soiled. Super hot water in kitchen but only warm in the shower. No Internet and no TV. Unit has (2) TV but zero channels.
