We loved the amount of space for our family. The beds were super comfy.

I liked how spacious it was and how it wasn’t too far up the mountain and not too close to the main streets where high traffic of cars would prevent us from sleep

The fact that the stairs were outside and no inside access to the second floor. Also, we thought it had 2 full baths but it only had one full bath. the second floor bathroom only had a toilet and sink no bathtub. We were a party of 10 so we all had to coordinate to shower in one single bath.

The area is quiet and people were friendly. The cabin has two floors. First floor has kitchen, dining, living room, bedroom with 1 queen bed and two twin beds (1 is a pull out bed), and full bath. Upstairs (don’t have access through main floor) has 1/2 bath, two full beds, 4 twin beds. The cabin has everything you need, pots, toaster, toaster oven, utensils, coffee pot and washer and dryer. You can see deer from the dining room window. If you walk out, within a few feet you’ll see more deer. The heaters worked amazing. You’re within minutes from shopping center. Definitely try Little Cub for breakfast. The food was delicious and service was amazing.

Access to upstairs is only through the outside and the stairs are a bit scary to use.

Felt like we were home away from home. Relaxing and loved the vintage feel. Would recommend for anyone who is looking into this stay. You won't be disappointed.

The location of the cabin was excellent, the deer came right up to our yard. The inside was spacious and well supplied with everything we could possible need to include gas grill with gas, plates, glasses silverware just to mention a few items.

The old carpet in the main bedroom has to go. Shag carpet is a 70s thing. The stair case to the 2nd floor is very narrow and hard to navigate for a big person or someone carrying a suitcase. The small bed in the main bedroom needs work.

I like that the cabin was spacious and that we had enough beds for the whole family. We love that we were surrounded by nature and several deer came to the cabin. Starbucks and other stores were close by. The weather was also perfect. We also like the TV and wifi.

From the moment we walked in the cabin smelled like someone smoked in the living room area. It was strong and my wife is sensitive to smoke. She also mentioned having the cookware replaced since they were old and scratched so it took her longer to cook since she could only use the small pan.

The best cabine to enjoy the forest and the beautiful town of Ruidoso, NM.
