Can’t wait to return and we just got home last night! Wonderful winter retreat…sat by the fire and watched eagles from big windows that looked out to Seattle skyline. Cooked meals and baked in a kitchen equipped with all we needed, from pans and utensils to spices and condiments, etc. Very comfortable beds and living room seating. Perfect for our winter visit and other seasons must be spectacular too. Great beach exploring down stairs from the yard, and walkable (2.5 miles) to the ferry and downtown. The host was responsive and incredibly kind with some last-minute changes. Highly recommend and will be back as soon as we can.

The views from this house were spectacular of the Seattle skyline and on clear days Mt Rainer. And the home was so well stocked with just about anything you could need. The outside deck with a table and cushioned chairs was delightful. And the kitchen with its vireos was a joy to cook in. We would love to return one day.

This property is more beautiful than I imagined. We had gorgeous weather which facilitated clear views of Seattle and Mt Ranier. Quite a treat to wake up to that panorama every morning! House clean, very comfortable and extremely well stocked. We arrived very late at night with fatigued brains and could not get into the key box. Barbara (the host) was very patient, kind in helping us gain entry. Have already booked a return visit : )

We loved this place. It had a great view of downtown Seattle and it was close to the ferry. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bedrooms were comfortable. The children loved going down to the rocky beach and playing.

Amazing location with great views of Seattle and access to the ferry. The property was comfortable, very clean, and nicely equiped with everything we needed. The host was very responsive and great to deal with. We enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend it.

Our stay was wonderful! Beautiful home with a delightful deck and spectacular view of Puget Sound, Seattle and Mt. Ranier. Deer ran through the property and eagles flew overhead. Thoroughly enjoyed by all! House could have been cleaner upon our arrival.

Amazing location, views of Seattle skyline, Mountains, Puget Sound. Beach access, great for bird watching (we saw eagles hunting fish) and watching the boats. Close to restaurants and shopping and the ferry. The kitchen is well stocked. The home is comfortably furnished Host is easy to work with, Worth every penny.

Had a lovely stay over Easter 2023. It rained almost the full 4 days we were there. Like a lot. Property was beautiful nonetheless. We got one morning of gorgeous views across the water. Loved cozying up by the fireplace. Furniture and kitchen are all fantastic. The ferry to Seattle was somewhat unpredictable, lots of delays most times that we took it (sometimes multiple times a day). But Bainbridge is so quaint. House is comfy and has every supply you could need or want. Ferry is so close. Wish we were able to spend more time down by the water or outside because the property is gorgeous. Our son even did a plunge in the cold water our last day. Barbara was so easy to get in touch with and chit chat with. Thanks again! Would absolutely stay again (maybe in summer next time).

We stayed 3 nights for a special birthday celebration, and had the most wonderful experience. The house is thoughtfully laid out as well as being beautiful. Good privacy from neighbors. We did not cook but the kitchen especially stood out for all its amenities and supplies! We might have to come back just for the experience of home-cooked meals with THAT VIEW. I live on Bainbridge Island and have never seen a better view of the city.

The house has a well stocked kitchen and is a short drive to and front restaurants qnd the ferry terminal to Seattle.

This was our second time renting this property. It is beautiful and an amazing waterfront property on Bainbridge Island. My family enjoyed their holiday stay here. The property had everything they needed. Very comfortable beautiful home. Host is also very accommodating and went out of her way to have it ready for us even during a major winter storm.

The house was absolutely perfect for a getaway! Modern and open floorplan, plenty of space for hanging out, and THE VIEW!!! It was a short drive to shopping and restaurants and a perfect little jaunt down to the beach for a morning stroll. All the little things were thought of and it was so nice to be able to leave without having a huge laundry list of things to do for checkout. We will definitely be staying here again!!

This was our second stay in this lovely house. The views of Puget Sound are fantastic. We enjoyed preparing meals in the well stocked kitchen and then sitting by the cozy fireplace after dinner. We’ll be back.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay at this beautiful home on Bainbridge Island! This water front home with gated stairs to the beach is gorgeous, well appointed with spectacular views of the water and the Seattle Skyline. Great communication with the property owner. A wonderful house, with a great deck, great views, wonderful plants and trees, a stairway down to your own beach. Very nice! The house is larger than it appears in the photos. Many thoughtful amenities. Close to town but also quiet.

Barbara is not only a wonderful host but her home is stellar. We loved her deck for a beautiful view of Mt Rainer and the Seattle skyline. We had regular visits from bunnies, deer and our family eagle. Great memories were made.

Island Perfection!
We rented this house for our annual college girls weekend (now 25 years strong) and we’re blown away!! It is the most gorgeous, comfortable, picturesque property I have ever stayed at. The location is beyond amazing but the home itself is so up-to-date, well-appointed kitchen, super soft and comfy linens and great beds. The open concept living/dining/kitchen area was perfect for us all to hang and cook together. And having stairs down to the beach for a long afternoon walk to collect rocks and shells was icing on the cake. Before I checked out I was already checking availability later this year to book again. Barbara was so proactive, responsive and considerate in her communications. Will 100% stay again!

Amazing views in a lovely home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing home in Bainbridge. It was extremely comfortable, well furnished and equipped with all the necessities you would need, just like home. Easy access to the private beach and a brand new deck where we just sat and looked over the water. We will definitely stay here again.

Peace and quiet
We came to Bainbridge Island for a change of scenery and rest from a busy life at home. The property more than exceeded our expectations with comfortable surroundings, close by restaurants and an amazing view. The house was well stocked and meet all our needs for this trip.
Barbara was wonderful with great communication for our stay. We look forward to the opportunity to come back for another stay in the near future.

One concern if you have chemical sensitivity (and we do) is that the housekeeper uses a floral scented laundry detergent giving a strong smell to the towels and sheets. We washed everything in scent free and all was well. Mentioned it to Barbara. I know this won't impact most but for those who have this sensitivity it will be an issue.

Pre-Thanksgiving Stay
Some friends and I along with my son who lives in Seattle stayed in this lovely home the week before Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing and serving our pre- Thanksgiving feast. The views of Puget Sound and of Seattle were fantastic. It is close to town and was a memorable place to stay.

Beautiful spot for a reunion!
My college buddies and their husbands met up in Seattle for one son's wedding then we headed to Bainbridge to hang out and catch up on each other's lives. This spot was perfect for 3 couples. While there was only one ensuite bedroom, the other two rooms were close enough to bathrooms such that each couple could have their own. The living space had plenty of room to gather or quietly read, whichever activity people were in the mood for. We hired a private chef one night and the kitchen worked out really well for that. The view was spectacular and we had fun exploring the beach in front of the house. I would totally stay here again!
