proximity to the town but far enough out of the hustle and bustle. A good sized family house lovely large kitchen bedrooms were a good size with comfy beds

Just a few things that didn’t work as well as they easily could have with a bit of maintenance - shower hose needs replacing in main bathroom No shower gel (I was told to expect everything you would have in a hotel room) and soaps needed topping up. Black out blinds needed especially for the rear facing bedrooms as next door have a motion detection light that went on and off all night. A parking permit would be a real asset

The house was lovely and it was in a great spot only a short walk to centre of Salcombe.

The communication from Salcombe Holiday Homes was poor and their offices are closed on Fridays. I had to speak to the neighbour to help us. We were also not informed of 5pm check-in and 9am check-out due to Covid (no email), the holiday homes that manage the property seemed to think we were in the wrong even though the communication had been terrible. It is a great property and was cleaned to full standard, it was just frustrating at the start of the holiday to deal with Salcombe Holiday Homes. All we needed was an apology and some communication before we arrived on timings and where to find the keys and the key code to access the keys. As we were happy to kill time in Salcombe town before checking in.
