Very spacious, comfortable, excellent heating, awesome having 2 bathrooms and toilets, easy walking distance to town bonus :)

There was a fishy smell as you entered the house and stayed the whole time we where there, maybe check light fittings Fridge also smelt as well

Location was close to town. And had a nice yard for kids to play!

For the cost of this place for the weekend was $1800 for the weekend so we expected a pretty luxurious place so when we came and found a dead rat and mouse we were mortified then as we went looking for a shovel To remove these dead and bloated rodents we found a shed full of other stayers rubbish built up the smell and flys in the shed were disgusting and definitely worked there way into the property. The master bedrooms ensuite and the back bedrooms smell was to the point we stopped using it after the first night as it was just horrible. We contacted bach care and they responded with an email apology stating that pest control had been working on the place to eliminate pests and that it would of been the last of the infestation. And that the shed wasn’t for visitors use and was the owners shed and we shouldn’t have gone in there as it’s meant to be locked. this property is not worth the prices we paid and I wouldn’t recommend anyone taking their family here as rodents were still present as we herd plenty of scratching in the roof above the bedrooms. And the smell was just very invasive and hard to deal it literally smelt like death. if we had any other places to stay in hanmer we would’ve definitely opted on a new place for the weekend but as hanmer is everything was completely booked out. The bit we found very hard to understand is we arrived to find the air conditioning on as it was a 30+ day which we appreciate but surely the person who done this noticed the smell through the house and could of investigated before we got there. This place definitely needs to have some Work done to it before someone else rents its as we think there is probably more dead and stinking rodents in the roof. Very disappointing

Great comunication, incredibly warm and sunny. Great location, great having a garage to store bikes in. Very spacious, great sized couch, toys for the kids. Good sized dining room table. Awesome having a fire in the living room.

Was a pity the bbq wasn't clean I would of loved to have used it on a sunny day. The main toilet didn't flush properly. Outdoor seating could of been a bit bigger.

Great house with everything you need, nice and spacious and lovely garden setting. House was lovely and warm when we arrived, great fire and heat pumps to keep you cosy. Very central and easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, pools, etc. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to the hosts for preparation and excellent communication.
