Easy self check in, Good location, Clean
- Parking space is not enough. If you arrive late or just drive to somewhere else for a short time, you could lost your parking space and hard to find nearby parking.
- The shower was the drain pipe clogged.

Unkompliziertes Check-In. Hinten raus relativ ruhige Lage.
Dusche nicht dicht und schmutzig, Abfluss verstopt. Der gsnze Vorraum der Duschwanne überschwemmt beim Duschen.

Für eine Nacht ein super Aufenthalt! Wir waren zufrieden und würden das Häusle wieder für eine Nacht buchen. Klar, es liegt an der Hauptstraße- aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Man ist in 5-10 min am Bodensee und hat in der Umgebung viel Möglichkeiten. Frühstücken waren wir im 3 König- einfach Spitzenmäßig war das!!! Absolute Empfehlung für den Preis was man alles geboten bekommt: unschlagbar!
Bis auf ein nicht frisch bezogenes Spannbetttuch vom Zustellbett war alles sauber und auch ausreichend Handtücher und so weiter vorhanden.

good location and free parking - we arrived early, so we has place in the parking area, others had to go otherwhere beacause it was too small and cars were so close that you have to be a very good driver to park here.
The self chek in is working well but this way you can't talk to anyone if you have questions.
The accomodation deleted our reservation 3 days before the stay - I guess beacuse they give the room to others. I could only reserve an other room - extra small bathroom, no place for the third bed and awful ventilation. No air-conditioning, extreme hot room. In extra, someone was cooking and smoking under our only window - there was an awful smell in the whole room. The wifi connection was not stable.
Run out of shampoo and shower gel.
Unclean curtains and spiders in the corners.

The surrounding was nice esp the lake that was behind and lots of restaurants on the way
The bathroom was small and the shower drainage was poor, and the car park was tight. Note though the site listed fan in the room, there actually isn't any.

Good location, self check-in works great.
Bad ventilation in the room, it was really hot, we had open window the whole night, but it was really noisy because of the main road. The bathroom is small and there is bad smell (because of the bad ventilation). Room was quite small for four people.

Do not book this hotel!
Abusive owner threatened to kick us out because he overcharged us and I dared to question it!
He also said he will look for something wrong in the room and charge us for it!
Please read other reviews on Google, booking.com etc and you will see other people's experiences with the owner.
I'm shocked at the level of aggression from him.
Shower was leaking and there is no proper door on the bathroom, just sliding see through doors.
Leaking paper cups for coffee.
They call themselves B&B, but charge 15€ for breakfast at another hotel.
He said he will block me for the future, there is no need, I would never stay there again!

This guesthouse is underrated. The place is great. The only issue is the busy road and the noise level of the rooms facing the road. if you are sensitive to noise like me, stay in one of the rooms facing the courtyard and they are just fine. Everything else is really comfortable. This property just across the lake would cost minimum double.

I loved the plane on the entrance. It took a while to find our apartment, but we were exhausted and didn't see the notification on the front door. The apartment was in the basement. It was raining and the steps were slippery. The room itself was well appointed and comfortable, with a kitchenette tucked into a corner next to the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep.
The bathroom? Meh. Shower was very very very small. Shower curtains are our pet hate and in a small shower, it sticks to every part of your body and it was so long, it clogged up the drain. A horrible experience. Please provide a large floor mat and remove the shower curtain. And hooks for shower and basin towels will be a great addition.The toilet seat was broken/loose. Not a great experience to waddle to and fro when you're trying to do your business. However, the water was warm.

The guest house is clean and the self check in system also works easily
The WiFi has very very poor reception in our room (804). And as the room location has also bad phone reception, it's making planning for vacation totally frustrating.
Contact person also didn't react to our needs, so it's a shame..

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. The room was a good size, and those at the back of the property are quiet. The car spaces are tight, but completely useable. Self check-in worked fine, and the owners responded to messages quickly.
Only a few minutes walk to the lake, and a good selection of restaurants in the evening.
Very few options for breakfast. No restaurant in the hotel itself.

It was difficult to access the apartment, the code would not work several times. In addition, our friends who had booked the same location could not access their room at all, they had to spend the night in a different hotel. This was the case with several guests, as we noticed when we checked in. At least four other parties could not access their rooms and did not know where to stay. Very frustrating!

The parking was very convenient and the self check-in was also quite nice, if a bit impersonal. Our room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony and lakeview. The building is near a busy road, but most of the noise ends by bedtime.
This property should not be referred to as a B&B as breakfast is not really provided. Guests can go to a neighboring hotel and register for breakfast.

We could park our car just in front of the entrance door. The room was clean and the Internet worked well. There is a nice viewpoint of Bodamsee nearby.
The double room was too small for two adults, a child, and a dog. The extra bed for the child blocked free access to the double bed and it was hard to find a suitable place for the dog. The child was a bit disappointed there were no planes as decoration in our room as visible in the photos. Maybe, they are just in different rooms.

good location, facilities were ok for a short stay.
unclear about breakfast arrangements, not in location. Did not see any staff for the duration of my stay. No air conditioning, it is on a busy road so if you have to open the window you invite the noise.

- place available to store the bikes
- although having a few observations as described below, our overall experience was very good and we would definitely come there again
- noise from the main road just in front of the house with quite strong traffic all day and night. But I assume that this is only in case of rooms having windows towards the road. It is also clear, that this is something the owner can hardly do anything with that,
- although the page on booking.com is in English and international customers are accepted, all further communication is strictly in German - even if a question was sent in English, which I would assume as a clear indication, that the customer does not speak German. Also the instructions for self checkin were provided in German only. Today, with google translate, one can somehow live with that, but....

I like the location. It is convenient to go to the promenade and restaurant near the lake. I can park my car in front of the hotel.
I like this hotel the way it is. I have no complaints.
