We rented both units in the house to accommodate 6 adults, (3 couples). It worked out beautifully. The units had easy off street parking and were large, bright and very clean and well equipped for our visit. There were grocery and liquor stores within a 10 min walk as well as lots of restaurants in the area. The harbor was about a 30 min walk. Easy to get there, uphill on the way back. Ubers were plentiful and inexpensive. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The apartment was bigger than thought with access to the private backyard. Very clean and everything you need to make oir stay loke home. The hosts, Wendy and Carol, were great and easy to get a hold of. Easy parking and easy access to downtown either walking or drive.

Nicely appointed and equipped flat with parking in a great location for touring Halifax. Property owners were very responsive and helpful.

The perfect spot for a stay in Halifax. Walking distance to downtown. Great shops and restaurants around the corner. Hosts were pleasant and always had a speedy response to our questions. Beautiful home and every amenity thought of. Hope to be back

Wonderful place with everything we needed.

Everything about this stay was top-notch. The communications, the accuracy of the listing, the welcoming hosts, the comfort and location of the space. One highlight was how well-equipped the kitchen is - so much better than the minimalist cutlery/dishes etc of many places. Also - very comfy beds! Wendy and Carol have created a lovely, cozy space that I hope to visit again sometime.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Apartment is in a great location, is very clean and spacious. Wendy and Carol were great hostess, easy to reach, and have all of the little touches that make the apartment a home away from home.

We had a great time. We were looking for that home away from home feel and we got it. When we are back in town we will look for this location again

This is a well-cared for apartment in a wonderful neighborhood near the Citadel and within walking distance of the harbor. The fenced in backyard was a bonus that our dog enjoyed. Very clean. We didn't require anything but the hosts were attentive without being intrusive.

This was our first visit to the Halifax and we couldn't have chosen a better accommodation. The pictures don't lie, the home is warm, comfortably furnished, well lit, beds are great and my wife loved the jet tub. Kitchen appliances are in excellent condition and are of good quality. The dinnerware provided is of high quality and plentiful. The location is close to downtown and the boardwalk. However, Not really walking distance for most as Halifax has some very steep streets. A short cab ride or quick drive gets you to downtown , restaurants and historical sites. Great Italian restaurant only a 2 minute walk and others close by. Owners provided a binder full of valuable information on the home and neighborhood and were available anytime if we had any concerns or questions. Parking on-site is good, but may be a bit of a challenge if you have a large SUV or van.

Loved our month long stay! The duplex (this is the first level of a two-story home) is very clean and well equipped. I love to cook, and this kitchen had every accoutrement, from a salad spinner to an immersion blender, lovely pots, pans, and nice dishes. King bed was super comfy. Tons of pillows, which was fabulous. Two bedrooms AND a small office = bonus! House is well maintained. Semi-urban area on beautiful tree lined street - we could walk to stores and restaurants. Fenced yard for the furballs, and we felt safe walking them in the neighborhood as well. Carol & Wendy are super responsive, respectful hosts who gave us great tips on where to go and what to see. Awesome location – just minutes to everything. Off street parking – yay! Be sure to do brunch at La Piazza and grab a flight of ciders and oysters at Chain Yard.

Loved this accommodation near the Citadel. This main floor home was so stylish, functional, and cozy. Lovely back yard access was our morning coffee ritual. Lots of personal touches: best pillows ever, many kitchen amenities, comfy couch, laundry made easy, and 2 bathrooms made this home perfect for us. Communication was frequent, clear, and easy. Thank you Wendy and Carol for all your care and personal touches.

My wife, and 3 kiddos ( ages 7, 5, and 20 months) spent about a week here and the house was perfect! my wife loved the modern touch to the house, the kids loved the backyard and access to netflix, and I really appreciated how close the place was to all the great places to see in Halifax. Highly recommend this and the hosts were amazing :)

Very comfortable, clean and well laid out floor plan. The cupboards are well stocked with everything you need to cook/bake. Easy check-in and great communication with owner. If we were to give any needs for improvement is, there’s no cable TV to watch a hockey game. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom modern spacious flat, with fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, laundry, parking. Charming décor with very cool retro appliances. Quiet patio and backyard. Very comfortable, and conveniently located. This will be my go to accommodation for Halifax trips. Bill

The only negative is writing this review and then not being able to rent the place next time because it will have been discovered and not available.
