Rained almost the entire week, so unable to take advantage of outdoor deck view. House had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Had everything we needed for a girls weekend great location unfortunately they are dredging and we had diesel engine running 24/7 Would have been nice to know. And beds were to hard for us all. Would consider coming again when river project is done

This three-bedroom home was clean and had everything you'd need for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

Nice 3 bedroom house over looking the St. Louis River. It was away from the hustle and bustle of Duluth, yet close enough to drive to all the tourist attractions. Which included Jay Cooke State Park and Canal Park in downtown Duluth.

We’ve stayed here before and will definitely stay again. We love waking up and coffee on the deck. It’s a great place!

We were looking for a property with a water view but also close enough to Spirit Mountain so we were not driving an hour to and from the wedding venue! We lucked out and found this gem. A little outdated, but so homey feeling and fun! Exactly what we needed for a 19m.o. and 6m.o. plus 4 adults! The location to canal park was amazing too! Such an amazing city! Beautiful backyard and deck! Overall we had an amazing time!

Everything was as advertised. Hopefully, we can come back next year when the nearby boat ramp is open.

Very nice neighborhood, large lot, with backyard View of the St Louis River. Nicely furnished home, with all essentials provided. A short drive to all the sight seeing, museums, and great restaurants in Duluth. Larry was readily available to answer questions we had. Definitely would recommend this host, and residence to friends, and family!

This was a great property for our weekend fishing trip. The house was amazing with the pool table and horseshoes, we were kept busy when we were not out and about. Would definitely recommend it.

We loved staying here and would like to return in the summer. It was cozy, fun, accommodating, and adorable! No complaints at all!

We rented this property a year in advance. We arrived in the middle of a snow storm. Larry had the lights on, and the drive way all plowed out for us. Everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived. Larry communicated prior to the arrival for the check in process, and it was easy! We had firewood ready to go for the fire place in the game room. We had a wonderful time, and we hope to return next year.

Place had a lovely view. Was very clean , quiet and spacious. Newer beds would’ve been nice, but still highly recommend.

Great proximity to Spirit mountain Nordic center. Clean, comfortable, good communication with owner, fully stocked kitchen, quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table. Would defiantly stay again!

We were visiting Duluth for a wedding and the house was very comfortable. We enjoyed our down time on the deck overlooking the water. It was equipped with everything we needed.

Property was clean and as advertised. Garage was nice to have. Pool table and ping pong for entertainment down stairs. New furniture in the living room not the furniture in the pictures. Really nice and comfortable. Check in and out was easy. Ice make in freezer was an added plus. Deck with furniture and fire pit ready to be lit was nice also.

Love the location of this place. A great place to unwind from life. Larry was very helpful. We enjoyed our visit

For the cost, this is a good amount of space. Access to river a little different than expected. Needed some deeper cleaning, but was mostly cozy and comfortable.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay tremendously. (6 people would be very comfortable here as well). As other reviewers have noted, the house is like staying at grandma’s (very 1970s), however you can’t beat the space: 3 bedrooms, large deck and backyard with a beautiful view of the St. Louis river. We also enjoyed the ping pong and pool tables in the basement. It was very clean, quiet, and Larry was an awesome host. You are about a 15 minute drive to Canal park and maybe 20 minutes to Jay Cooke State park. Close to Spirit Mountain too. Nice place to relax after a busy day of hiking and seeing the sights in Duluth and along the North Shore.

Top notch from booking to check-in to check-out. We will definately stay here again when visiting Duluth!

The house was nice, clean, comfortable and everything was as expected. Larry was super nice and very responsive! My friends and I had a wonderful stay, even though the weather wasn't very agreeable!

We chose this property for a weekend with our son and daughter-in-law. All were first impressed by the backyard and view of St. Louis River while enjoying a fire and view of downtown lights. Both the deck and backyard are spacious. Most fun was had in the basement game room! I knew this bonus space would grab the guys attention, especially during April when we were neither skiing nor fishing. The kitchen is smaller but large dining room table and living room allow plenty of sitting space. Large bedrooms with room for our travel gear was good to find. Beds were comfortable and kitchen included enough cookware and utensils required for homemade meals. This is also the first rental we've found that includes access to the garage which was appreciated when first arrived during inclement weather. We are very interested to stay again during summer, grandchildren included, and take advantage of close proximity to Munger Landing for fishing. Another advantage we found about location of this property is that it enticed us to drive Highway 210 through Jay Cooke State Park. WOW! The views of the St. Louis River, the winding road, the hills here are just as impressive as some of the scenery along the North Shore. We stopped at the state park and walked the historic swing bridge. Larry is quick to respond and attentive to his guests. Thanks again for making our weekend memorable.

This house was very quaint and was perfect for our trip. My husband and planned this weekend away with our friends to celebrate his birthday. The game room in the basement was awesome and we were down there a lot of the time. It’s slightly dated but that doesn’t take away from the amenities. It is very close to canal park and was perfect for what we needed.

This property is not fancy, but totally clean and fit our needs. We totally enjoyed the lower level party area with fireplace. We would definately stay here again. Larry was also very responsive and easy to work with.
