Dragonfly was perfect for our 2 day Thanksgiving celebration. We were a large group of 20 but everyone had their own comfortable space, and the common areas never felt crowded. It is a well-appointed house with a well-stocked kitchen. The layout is great with easy access to rooms and bathrooms. It is right on the water and we enjoyed both sunrise and sunset right on the balcony, and relaxing walks on the beach. Easy and fast communication with property manager and a smooth check in/out process. A great vacation house to have had indeed. We plan to be back, God willing. Thanks for an amazing Thanksgiving venue!

We rented this lovely beach house for our girl's cousin reunion. Excellent place for it! Great location; very nice beach house; clean; and it was just an overall great trip!

Way way better than our expectations. Can't find a better view for sun rise from a southeast facing patio.
My 85 yrs old mother had a hard time to navigate 24 steps from ground level. This is not a complaint, just a reminder for old folks or someone having knee issue.

We stayed here for two nights for a team retreat. The house has everything you need. Every kitchen utensil, blankets for the sofa, several beach towels, padded loungers on the front deck and beach chairs/boogie boards downstairs.
It was immaculate when we got there, the cleaning staff did a great job!
Location is fantastic. The palm tree in front of the beautiful large ocean view deck was incredible. We all loved it and would highly recommend to large groups!

This is our second stay at the Dragonfly property. The location is ideal and the layout of the home was a good fit for our eight adults and five children under 7. The two toddlers spent all their time playing on the stairs so I should have brought my baby gate. Other than that the house was a great place for vacation!

We had a big group of family stay. The home was by far the best place I have ever stayed. We enjoyed our stay so much and cannot wait to go back!

Size of home was perfect for a big family. Beach access was directly below the home. Plenty of sitting areas upstairs, downstairs, and bathrooms. Loft was great for the kids. Great view being beach front etc. Will be booking this home again.

Beautiful house big enough for 17 of us. On the deck you always felt the breeze and heard the waves. House is huge inside with plenty of room to move around and sleep comfortable for 17 woman. Under the house was great for gathering in the hot part of the day. Parking was in abundance so no worries on how many cars can fit. Loved it! All appliances worked great and no overflow of garbage outside!

We would have enjoyed it but everyone complained about the beds. I know mine was terrible and the cheap paper thin sheets was very disappointing. When your on vacation and you finally sleep a few hours and wake up feeling like you got hit by a truck it doesn't leave a very good feeling especially when your paying 1200.00 $ a night and fees and taxes. All so the floors were dirty one year old was filthy crawling on the floor when we first got there, we had to clean the floors so she could be put down on the floor. The ferry was a horrific and the time lost waiting was terrible. Please change yor beds it's not right to have a vacation rental with bad beds. I had to check and see if it was a air bed it was so bad.

This home was perfect for a graduation celebration. The layout of the kitchen was amazing with the tables plus eat-in counter. And that bonus room upstairs was a great hangout for the kids. The space beneath was a super way to spend the evenings with cornhole and spikeball. We even got to know some of our neighbors! Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean. Owners were very responsive and informative. Check-in was so easy. Much more space than what we originally thought. Love the kitchen setup with the long table/bar area - plenty of seating so we could all eat together. Great access to the beach whether you walk or drive your vehicle on the beach. We will definitely rent again.

Property was clean and fit out group of 18 people - four families, 10 kids and 8 adults. We loved having the upstairs loft that fit all ten kids easily, included a ping pong table, and gaming system. The adults could enjoy the downstairs living room late at night without disturbing the kids. The deck over looking the ocean was great to use throughout the day. We had immediate beach access which made it easy to enjoy the ocean and then come back to the deck for snacks. We had a great relaxing week on the beach with family and friends.

Eleven of us (ages 4-68) had an amazing stay at Dragonfly!! This beach house hits ALL the marks for an excellent vacation spot! It had everything we needed and more. We can't wait to come back!

Easy check in. Beach house right on beach with lots of room for family. Home is elevated on stilts as are all Gulf beach homes so those that struggle with stairs would not enjoy. Well equipped kitchen. Kids had fun with ping pong table upstairs in loft. Watched sunrise from the deck. And sunset too. Comfortable home for the family to gather. We ate at big long Island in kitchen 8 adults and 2 kids. Special place.

Absolutely loved this property and location for our long weekend getaway. The house has plenty of space and has plenty of seating inside and out for a crowd. Loved the location. Very quiet beach. Great view. I would highly recommend!

Lots of crabs, birds, & fish to watch.
Rode rented golf carts up and down the beach.
Watched the sunrises from the upper deck.
Short trip to Galveston with the bonus of the cheapest dolphin tour (free ferry).

We had such a blast on this vacation, we only wish it could have been longer.
We did end up with a roof leak on the 1st day with all the rain… didn’t allow the kids to use the bathroom up in the loft so that was an inconvenience. But the property manager was on point and responded quickly. We did appreciate the responsiveness! We would totally come back!

We had never been to Bolivar Pennisula before. We loved the house and the beach! Plenty of space in the living area, and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of 14. If you are planning to use a crockpot or electric skillet, bring your own, the ones in the house do not work. Also, the cleaning crew did a great job, but they were over 30 minutes past our check-in time.

The house is amazing! Clean, perfect location and the beach was fantastic. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay and will defiantly re-book this house! This house has the beach access right next to it so no lugging beach gear too far, plenty of room. Had a small snafu the night before leaving, called Sherry and she had me fixed in 30 minutes....they are great. The beach is wonderful and not too crowded, we were very relaxed here.

Beautiful and spacious property. We were close to the ocean and had a great 4th of July.
The company was responsive through text and kept us updated frequently. Also we had a minor plug issue and they sent someone over right away to resolve it. I would definitely recommend this place and would re-book again!

Perfect family vacation spot
Our family had a marvelous time at this house on the beach. It was remarkably clean with wonderful spaces for each of us. The porch and downstairs outside areas are so spacious and accommodating to many people. The closeness of the beach was outstanding. We all agreed that we would like to return the same house next year. Thank you for a great place to enjoy our family!

The location is great. Property manager was responsive.
Upon arrival we found one toilet to be clogged. We had to call property manager twice to fix it. Maintenance people left the garbage from toilet in the bathroom and it smelled so bad for a day. Some of the bathroom doors were missing locks. Otherwise our stay was superb.
