Security and house keeper were both very helpful when we arrived. The host communicated well and was available for any questions. It felt like a home away from home with all the important amenities.

Although the house was clean we found a few cockroaches around the kitchen.

The fact that the house does not have a backup during loadshedding

it was clean, the sheets and rooms were clean. The location was also good

- All our room blankets were dirty - Our light at the outside bedroom didn’t work and we were given the wrong globe, we never had light until we left - There was no generator firing load shedding time. at least we had gas stove and a few emergency lights

The house was spacious and the pool & Table tennis was great fun. Nice big patio 2 fridges are great - If there is power Solar lights in each room for load-shedding

We were aware there would be load shedding & came prepared for that BUT on arrival, there was also a power fault which meant we no power at all. This was reported immediately but still only fixed by 11am the next day. Half of our holiday was cold showers, and no fridge to cool down the drinks & keep food fresh after a few hours of travel. Our phones were eventually flat & we could not even get updates on the situation. No one even came to check on us when they could not contact us. They managed to offer us 3 small bags of ice but I feel a lot more could have been done. It's a lot of money to stay there but the people on the ground were not very friendly, understanding or helpful. We were told this happens from time to time.

The location was great. The layout of the unit was nice. The 2 fridges was fantastic

The one geyser was not working. There is a leaking tap in kitchen. There was no soap provided in the bathrooms and I only discovered it when we checked in. There is some maintenance needed in some areas.

Nice big house, enough rooms. comfortable beds inside the house. Love the main bedroom

The bedroom outside, horrible bed, there is no chairs to put your suitcase on, no mirrors in some rooms, The beds were only made up with clean sheets a day after we arrived, there is a fireplace , but you cant use it. If it was cold this weekend luckily hot enough, we would like to use the fire place. The doors is locked with chains, this house needs some upgrading. But we enjoyed the stay, The gravel road is not good, Will not go their again.
