The lounge/dining area was light and comfortable. The bed again was large and comfortable with enough hanging space in the bedroom for our stay. Bathroom w;as large with everything we needed. The kitchen area was really good, but we failed to make. The best use of it.

Two very minor points 1) the bathroom sink didn’t have a conventional plug making a wet shave difficult and probably wasteful with water. 2) we had not pre-ordered breakfast as we were part of a large party of around 20 people meeting up for meals. The one day we did book a breakfast it was superb but much too large for our needs.

This well located and tastefully decorated apartment is set in this typically Dutch house. Being on the ground floor is a bonus! Wonderful host’s give you tips on the local area

A fantastic location, easy access and perfect facilities

This was a very pleasant surprise. I was travelling for work and booked this off the map only for the location (which was close to my venue, walking distance from the train station, in a nice part of Dordrecht with pretty streets and nearby shops for supplies). I had not gone through the description much and only realized it was a whole -Dutch kind of compact- apartment after I arrived. It was also decorated tastefully and with character, objects reminiscent of Hindu/Moroccan/Turkish/maybe Polynesian? cultures and old school rock. The place is actually connected (with a locked door, opened when you need sth) to the owner's apartment upstairs and they are very kind and attentive. There is a living space with a desk to work on, live flowers, armchairs to chill on, even a record player and card games. A kitchen with a nespresso machine and pretty much anything you need to cook. Several coffee tea choices and complimentary nutella too:) A bedroom which was comfortable and had adjustable heating. A bath which was quite big by Dutch standards (as far as I have seen, though I only stayed in Utrecht and Amsterdam a few times) and supplied with vegan shower gel. My plan was to go handle a few things before my first meeting in a cafe, but the room was perfect and there was decent coffee so I stayed to work in and drank a lot of coffee. I had less time the following days. It was very very pleasant and I wished I could spend more time hanging in the room, facing a nice street, chilling, which does not happen often in hotels. The breakfast was also massive!

Property was excellent, owners exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb.
