Klimat, lokalizacja, otwarte przestrzenie, roślinność wokół, małpy skaczące w lesie po drzewach, prywatna plaża.

Dom jest dość stary, ale dodaje to tylko klimatu. Droga do obiektu jest fatalna, konieczny jest napęd 4x 4, instrukcje dojazdu wysłane przez hosta są nie dokładne.

Can’t say we didn’t end up staying there

It was extremely difficult to find, admittedly we arrived after dark but whilst in close proximity, it took an hour and half to finally find it after not much help from our contact. There are no indications at all and directions link on their email was invalid and we were unable to speak to the person guiding us over the phone, only WhatsApp messages (and often you don’t have network). Finally we found it and road is extremely bumpy and you definitely need a 4x4 car to access. This is a must. The place is very run down, wood old and worm ridden in places, fairly large holes in the floorboards and some of the netting in the windows open in places so the house is exposed to the elements of the jungle, so when we arrived, there were bats in the house (one of which our son stepped on barefoot). The amenities are very old and the outside is also quite run down. The towels were stained. Though the caretaker who lives next door clearly puts effort into keeping it clean and in order and is very nice, but it’s larger works and some updating that is needed (certainly for the price they are charging). The beach is indeed right in front but is stones with a small stretch of it sandy to the left of the beach so water shoes are def needed. We actually left the night we arrived given the unpleasant arrival as it is not suitable for families with younger children. We stayed in a number of eco-lodges and houses in CR that are well-immersed into the jungle but they all felt to a much better standard than this and safer. It was a huge disappointment at the tail end of a magical trip. We checked into a nearby hotel and Uvita was wonderful otherwise but we would not recommend this house especially not for families with younger kids and recommend that it be secured and renovated given the price they are asking. We explained our situation to our contact and complained and have not even had an acknowledgment of our message or any reply whatsoever.

Duermes prácticamente dentro de la naturaleza con vistas al mar y piscina privada, eso nos encantó, era lo que buscábamos. Francisco que es la persona que se encarga de cuidar la casa fue muy amable con nosotros en todo momento. La cocina está medianamente equipada, lo básico para poder cocinar. Nos gustó que nos dejaron café y azúcar. El wifi funcionaba bastante bien. Habían equipado la casa con bastantes toallas. Geles de ducha muy aromáticos.

No consideré fluida la comunicación con Vacasa, las coordenadas que envían para acceder al lugar no correspondían y ellos insistían en que sí. El acceso a la casa es horroroso, íbamos con una Van y la persona de Vacasa nos dijo que podíamos acceder con ella y tuvimos que tener mucho cuidado, el camino es horroroso! Los taxis locales que son 4x4 no quieren acceder ahí, dicen que es el peor camino de toda la zona. Por otro lado, la casa tiene mosquiteras en todas las ventanas, pero había zonas que estaban rotas, NO HABÍA AGUA CALIENTE y al estar con niños fue un poco complicado. No tienen puertas de seguridad tipo la entrada general, es un país seguro, pero cualquiera podría acceder a la vivienda.

Location, very cool beach house, pool, beach

Could use a couple more fans, we did ask for one an oscillating fan and someone brought one that day for downstairs which helped, one of the big fans upstairs didn't go that fast like the others.

Prachtig junglehuis, midden in het regenwoud. Schitterende locatie, eigen strand voor de deur. Goed internet, lekker zwembad, prima bedden en veel ruimte. Wij en de kinderen hebben genoten van deze bijzondere locatie.

Het huis heeft wat gebreken. Voor ons niet storend want de prachtige locatie maakte alles goed. Een ventilator beneden zou fijn zijn, de achterdeur sluit niet goed, het keukengerei (bestek, messen, snijplank) kan wel een update gebruiken. Bankstel is een beetje groezelig. Sanitair mag vernieuwd worden, oven doet het niet. De locatie was een beetje moeilijk te vinden, je komt er via een onverharde kronkelweg waar je gemakkelijk voorbij rijdt vanaf de hoofdweg. We vonden het een geweldig leuke ervaring om in dit huis te verblijven, slapen midden in het regenwoud, de gebreken waren voor ons niet storend. Als de gebreken opgelost worden is dit huis een dikke 10 waard.

The place is amazing. you have whole beach just for yourself; around the house you can see many plants and animals. the pool is very clear and nice.

the house is quite old; especialy some doors and furniture (sofa) is very old. the house can`t be locked at all as it has only old wooden doors with no lock. we missed also the touster.

Absolutely gorgeous spot. Had a beautiful beach to ourselves, monkey running on the roof. Really unique house, my kids liked the rope swing in the living room. I do think staying here is a worthwhile experience but definitely not for more than two nights!

The house is very run down, bed sinks in in the middle, windows and doors are broken, the light in the kitchen was broken and even though I asked they didn’t fix it and I had to cook holding a flashlight. The sheets and towels are badly stained. We told Kristin we would arrive around 17:00 and asked for her to meet us, she said we can just come in the door is opened. After a seven hour drive we arrived at the coordinates sent to us which ended up being two km from the actual house. Kristen didn’t answer the phone so we called vacasa who tried to help us but kept sending us locations that ended in the middle of roads. In the end Kristin answered almost two hours later, during which time we drove helplessly around uvita with our two kids in the car. Very frustrating. Also no hot water if that’s something that you are looking for.
