10/10 Vrbo! Our host, Maryann, was incredibly responsive as needed. House was immaculate and well appointed with towels (swim and bath), extra blankets, plenty of cookware and huge pantry with essentials. We enjoyed their kayaks and canoes- you have to pick up and return at the neighborhood beach which is a very short walk/water ride away. Not an inconvenience at all. Our three kids had a blast swimming in the lake! The home’s swimming dock (with included beach chairs) is a huge plus! Sunsets on the dock are breathtaking. Lake is very quiet and neighbors are super sweet. Tons of amazing hiking nearby at Mt. Major and Franconia State Park. Don’t think twice about renting this gem!

Perfect home for a long winter weekend gathering. We had a group of 11 adults. All family coming from CT and NH. This home has so much space, large bedrooms, bathrooms and extra rooms for sleeping or lounging. The beds were very comfortable. Everyone said they slept like a rock! The main room is large and open. We were were able to sit together for eating, playing games and watching TV. The home comes stocked with everything you can imagine you might need, or perhaps for got to bring. Plenty of linens, towels, and blankets for a large group. We enjoyed time at Gunstock Mountain, hiking and checking out the lake which was frozen over. A very enjoyable time. Absolutely no complaints. MaryAnn was very accessible and attentive to our needs. Love this home and hope to spend time there again in the summer as the home has so much more to offer in the warm weather too. The views of the lake are just spectacular !!! Highly recommend this property!!!

This property was perfect for our large extended family with teen and young adult children. It was spacious and was well equipped with everything we needed. There was so much to do even when the weather wasn’t perfect. It was a very peaceful and relaxing vacation. Can’t wait to return!!!!

If you are looking for a relaxing time on a beautiful lake with loons calling and sunsets from a private dock and/or deck, this is the place for you. Very nice lake for swimming, kayaking and boating.

This house was tremendous! Right on the lake and although the weather didn’t cooperate the inside of the house had more than enough space for everyone to play games, watch movies, and reconnect. We were able to take a short canoe ride around the lake which was easy to grab and a highlight of the weekend. Stores within 10 minutes for any small needs (firewood, chips, etc).

Everything was perfect. We were their on a beautiful weekend in March. Lots of hiking and games. The kitchen was well supplied. Everything was clean and welcoming.

Where to start? Quintessential NH lake house that feels both very traditional yet modern. Tons of room inside and out to relax, read a book, play a board game, gather for family meals, have coffee on the balconies, deck or dock, swim, fish, kayak - the list is endless! Spacious lake but without the hectic vibe of bigger lakes. Quiet area but within 30-45 minutes of just about anything else you’d want to do like hiking, zip lining, drive in theaters and Weirs Beach. Maryann could not have been more responsive and accommodating! Exceeded all of our expectations and created lifelong memories for our family, already thinking about next summer!

A great house for an extended family get together on a lovely, uncrowded lake. We were a group of 9, including 4 children ages 4 - 14, all "water rats". This is one of the best vacation homes we have ever rented and easily the best provisioned. Whatever you think you will need to bring, you probably won't. The lake water is clear and warm, and the boat traffic even on an August weekend is relatively light, particularly compared to other lakes in the region. The lake is safe for paddlers and is pretty quiet during the week. We rented a boat for the week (Jay's Marina will deliver) and the dock handled a 20 foot pontoon boat easily. The water is swimming depth right off the dock and there is also a floating swim dock. There are things to do in the area, but we didn't leave the lake except for groceries. Did the whole lake bit including s'mores at the fire pit. Also - no bugs! There is a lovely outdoor dining area and we ate there every night. Good view of the lake and the beautiful sunsets. The Hughes are wonderful hosts and very responsive to questions and requests.

We were extremely impressed with this property. It has everything you would need out of a rental and more- this home is extremely well equipped. The dock is extremely large (perhaps the largest we saw on the lake) and allowed for our entire family (8 adults and 1 infant) to enjoy lake time together and the gorgeous sunsets every night! We brought a large 4 person boat which was perfect to hitch on to the swimming dock. The bedrooms in this home allow for everyone to have their privacy as well. The home was extremely clean upon arrival! We would definitely rent again. Maryann was extremely communicative the entire time and was always available via text if we had questions, etc. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
