We had so much fun for the four days spent here. There were seven adults (with dogs), and we all had an amazing time. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable that one of our group took pictures of the down comforter tags because she said she had never slept so well! The house is set in the woods and we were able to take short walks to view Mt Chocorua, hang out outside and walk the trails right in the area. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, yellow leaves on the trees everywhere--quite magical looking. We were able to sprawl out comfortably, had a blast playing some of the games provided in the house, and being city dwellers, enjoyed just looking at the stars at night. The home is short driving distance to other sights so we were able to explore many sights during our short stay. Everything in this home is designed for the comfort of people staying there, and the only complaint we had was that we had to leave. The house is beautifully designed and every detail is so carefully planned in order to make guests have a lovely experience. To say we enjoyed ourselves is an understatement, and we would certainly love to come back!

What a great cabin situated right over rt.16 at Mt. Chocorua/Lae Chocorua. Alex's cabin was probably the best stocked / organized out of all my stays ever. We loved waking up each morning and walking down to the lake with the dogs. I would 110% recommend this cabin at any time of the year, and only hope we will be back soon! Thanks for everything, the place was perfect!

Chocorua lake is a gem! Alex is a wonderful host, very communicative and very accommodating. The cabin is fantastic. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. The lake itself is truly magical. We borrowed Alex’s canoe and had a ton of fun on the lake. I highly recommend this property and wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

I can’t recommend this rental more. We spent the week of February vacation at the Moot Cabin and it was a perfect (COVID safe) week away. The house was spotless upon our arrival and was supplied with more than we could ever need. For a ski getaway, the washer and dryer made life so much easier (as well as anything we could need in the kitchen). Alex left a very detailed binder with info on the house as well as the local town and activities outside the town. When we did have a question, Alex responded almost instantly. We traveled with our 3 boys (ages 12, 10, and 5) and between the game room, hot tub, ping pong table, and darts we were able to spend time relaxing in the cabin without the need to always go out to entertain them. It is located on a gorgeous lake and a short drive from the heart of North Conway. The local ski mountain is great for beginners and much cheaper than the bigger mountains around. My boys are already talking about when we can go back!

Great property, private in a good location. House was warm and cozy you can tell they have invested a lot into it.

This is a spacious and perfect cabin for a family or group getaway. Very conveniently located and secluded in the woods, a few minutes walk from the lake. This home has something for everyone, from the spa like master suite and a wonderful outdoor cedar soaking tub, to a quiet study, games room - with options for all ages, a very comfortable living room, a cozy kitchen with every possible tool or appliance you may need, and even ping pong and darts in the basement. The owners obviously take great pride in their home and have left nothing to chance, they provide five star concierge service. The only difficult part was having to pack up and leave this gem!

My boyfriend and I spent a glorious mid-fall week at the Chocorua cabin with our 1-year old pittie, Nova. The cabin is surrounded by trees, and although it is close enough to hear the crowds stopping for pictures of Lake Chocorua, you still have a feeling of seclusion. The house is charming, spacious, and comfortable, with a gorgeous, private master suite. I was extremely impressed with the thought and care the owners, Alex and Nancy, put into labeling light switches, chargers, and other equipment. Also, it was so nice to find everything we needed (and more!) available for our use from flashlights and extra batteries, to bathrobes and extra blankets. The large deck, propane heater, and plentiful furniture made for many relaxing hours outdoors reading or taking in the surroundings, and the hot tub was WONDERFUL during the chilly falls evenings--what a treat!! Alex provided instructions and information well ahead of time and was extremely responsive to questions. This property is conveniently located to some beautiful hikes, the Kancamagus highway, and some fantastic scenic areas for leaf-peeping. After our week was up we didn't want to leave--I guess that means we'll be back!

This is a great cabin to get away with the family (and our dog). Everything was clean, comfortable, and very well furnished. We hiked on several trails that are very close by. The lake access was also very good with only a short walk with easy access to the water. We used the kayaks and enjoyed the scenic lake and wildlife (beavers, turtles, and a even a few fish).

Loved the hot tub and also the proximity to trail heads (6 minutes from piper trail on Mt. Chocorua). Bring you're own charcoal if you plan on grilling. Alex provided many detailed instructions on areas attractions. Lots of fun books, games, and toys too. Doggies loved the surrounding lake and trails, thabks for allowing them!

My husband, two children (ages 8 and 12), and I rented the cabin from Alex and Nancy for the month of July. Our entire family, including our dog, had a terrific time. The lake entry is just a two minute walk away for swimming, the trampoline kept the children busy for hours, and the cedar soaking tub on the deck was a big hit for all. We went kayaking, paddle boarding, and/or swimming multiple times a day. We also loved being in the woods, surrounded by lovely bird songs, minutes away from amazing hiking and yet only 20 minutes from food shopping and other stores. The kitchen was the best equipped in any rental I have seen. And Alex and Nancy are really great, wonderful communicators, and kind people. I highly recommend this place. We will surely be back, hopefully this winter to take advantage of the nearby skiing!
