It rained every day but didn’t mind because the view was beautiful. House was very clean, and well organized. Equipped with all we needed. We loved it! Only thing that I would recommend to owners is to turn jets on and clean hot tub before guests arrive. It looked clean till we turned it on and it spit out a lot of nasty stuff.

I could just sit there for weeks and stare at the Lake from the living area. House is so well appointed. This is probably the most well stocked kitchen of any VRBO we have ever stayed at. We love to cook and this did not disappoint. Such an easy process for check in and out. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

The house was perfect for our girls weekend. We are a mellow bunch and sitting outside in the chairs around the fire while the sun went down was lovely. Beds were comfortable. Open concept living room area was the perfect hang out. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. Met up with several other family members, 6 of us in total. It was nice having 3 separate bathrooms to accommodate everyone and the family area is open and beautiful and stayed cool and comfortable even during the 104 temps that weekend. We all kayak & paddle board and had so much fun being able to launch right there from the backyard. We will definitely book here again for another get-together!!

Our family decided at the last minute to take a few days off and head to the lake. The checkin process was very easy, the house was extremely clean and well cared for. We loved having lake access and the incredible views. Everything we needed was in the home or stated in the owner’s description to take with us. This was helpful when planning our stay. We have already recommended this property to others and would love to return again.

This was our second stay at Sunset Cove. It is such a beautiful and well-kept Lakehouse. Our family enjoys the space and I feel it is very well priced for everything we receive while there. Our whole family loves it!

My friends and I love relaxing at the lake with a beautiful view.... and this property did not disappoint!!! The location was easy to get to, the bedrooms were very comfortable and nicely appointed. A good time was had by all. Our trip was a success!

This was a short getaway for my family. Everything was easy for check in and check out. Earl was a great owner who really made the experience wonderful. The sunset views are breathtaking. We all fell in love with this spot and this lake and this area!

This property is amazing!! The listing was right on point and everything was just as described - actually a bit better. The house is so spacious and well appointed and clean! We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the view is spectacular. We will definitely be back!

My mom, sister, and I stayed for our annual mother/daughters/sisters getaway. The property is just lovely. The house is exactly like the pictures and very clean and well-appointed. The property is just beautiful. We were very comfortable...it was like a home away from home. Very peaceful and private. We had a wonderful time...the only downside was that we couldn't stay longer.

This place lives up to its name-Sunset Cove!! The views are breathtaking!! Loved all the views, king beds are very comfortable, loved having a beverage refrigerator and the owner communicates very well and prompt, checked in on us, very nice!! We are going back in a few weeks!!

House is right on the lake! The sunsets are beautiful. Very clean and the beds and furniture are very comfortable. Great communication with owner. Only downside is they don’t take pets and we typically travel with our dogs. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy the lake! Great for families! Excellent host!

The breathtaking views are truly so relaxing. We didn’t want to leave the house to even go to the store. This place is very spacious and has everything you need plus more.

We had all our family with us to celebrate, Everyone really enjoyed their stay and now wants to make it an annual visit. The place was well keep and had plenty of games and a beautiful site of the lake. The hot tub was great to get into after a long day. We also saw an Eagle each morning along with the deer, and woodpeckers. Overall excellent place to stay.

Beautiful, Relaxing, and Quaint!
The property was full of amenities. It has large, open windows but remained cool the entire time. Best sleep I've gotten in a while! The lake-front was perfect for a kayaker like me, and we enjoyed using the available grill and cornhole boards with friends! There were also extra fold-out chairs downstairs. The living room and kitchen area and large and there is PLENTY of seating which is sometimes hard to find in a nice place. Earl's communication was quick and respectful. There were about 5-6 neighbor dogs that roamed the property every now and then, but we are all animal lovers so we really didn't mind. We will definitely look into staying here again.

Majestic East Texas Getaway
Exceptional view from common area. Comfortable and roomy. Quick and easy access to areas of interest in both Texas and Louisiana. Direct lake access and beautiful, relaxing outdoor comforts for naps or sitting around the fire ring. Owner of this property is a fantastic host through property provision and accessibility to answer questions. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing 4th of July experience with our family! The lake and scenery were abaolutley beautiful! The house was so clean and had amazing touches to make our stay fun and relaxing!

Great property!
The house is right on the water! We had plenty of room! We enjoyed the deck, fire-pit, and cornhole. The beds were very comfortable. Loved being able to pull our boats up to the bank and park them. The kitchen was well stocked.

Beautifully Relaxing
I stayed with my daughter and soon-to-be daughter -in-law. We had such a great time! The house is very cozy with the most beautiful view of the lake and an AMAZING sunset!! We saw so many birds we just don't see in DFW along with deer and fish eating cranes(?), I think they were. Great time all around. We played cornhole, the ball toss thingy, went kayaking, and floated in the lake right outside the house. Loved every minute and we were not ready to leave.

Right on the lake with our own private beach, water was amazing, good fishing, house was stocked with nearly everything we needed. Had a couple mishaps with the stairs going to the lower level but my 4 yr old is not a great listener. Definitely learned his lesson after taking a tumble though lol. Cant say enough about this property and the owner. This was our first trip to Lake O the Pines. Beautiful lake and an amazing property. The view of the sunset is breathtaking. The host was attentive to all questions and requests. I caught 20 bass from my kayak launched at the property about 30 yards from the bank. Would definately stay again.
