The condo and furnishings were pretty. The king size bed was comfortable. The balcony provided a beautiful view of the ocean and had four comfortable chairs. Unfortunately, there were several things wrong. There is a huge window on the side of the living room that has no type of covering. Everyone from the condo next door and on the beach could see inside where people were sleeping on the sofa bed. If lights were turned on in the kitchen during the night, bugs scurried around. I saw one in the silverware drawer one day. The huge TV in the living room worked well. None of the other three TVs worked because we couldn't get a signal from COX. We couldn't call the cable company because they wanted an account number, which we didn't have. The upstairs tub/shower didn't drain well at all. Everyone who used it had dirty water around their feet. Upstairs had an electrical outlet that didn't have a cover. The Corning Ware casserole dish needs to be replaced. We were going to use it, but it has a bad crack. When we tried to open the door, our code didn't work. The maintenance man got us a new code. The notice I received gave the October code for the gate to get to the beach, but it didn't work. Another lady staying there saw me trying to get the gate open, and she told me the code hadn't been changed yet to October from September. The September code worked. I'm not sure about the gate to the pool because I never used it. My grandson made a call to someone who should know the codes. She was very nice, but the codes she had still didn't work. It was very confusing and a waste of our vacation time to have to deal with this.

My family has been staying at Crystal Villas for 20+ years and this is the first time we have ever been disappointed with our accommodations. Upon arrival several live roaches came out of the kitchen drawers, from behind the stove and inside the dishwasher. We always choose to stay in a condo so we can eat meals in instead of going out and we had to wash all dishes before we felt comfortable using any dishes which was very inconvenient. We contacted Vacasa about the issues and they were very apologetic but they asked if we took any pictures. I found that to be very ridiculous obviously we didn't have time to take pictures when we were trying to kill live roaches. They said they would send an exterminator the next day. No one ever showed up to take care of the problem or contacted us again and we were forced to do it ourselves. Even after spraying and putting out roach motels we continued to see live roaches the rest of our stay. In addition, to a roach infestation the trash was not taken out and the floors were filthy. Not only is this unacceptable, it also a health hazard and should taken care of immediately.

Drove down from Charlotte North Carolina with the family for a short vacation. Check in was good fairly easy you get an email the day of with all the information you need to check into your rental. Love the location for my family close to everything. The cleanliness of the place was Soso. We had broken wrist bands for the pool. There were some broken items in the rental such as the screen on the sliding door the upstairs bathroom shower and while we were there (Wednesday to Sunday) we had three roaches come out to say ‘hi’. There was not One single broom and dust pan for use. We made the best of our stay but the cleanest of this rental was not up to part. Overall rating a 3. Most important part was that the kids had fun.

Great older property, great beach access, spacious condo, very clean, we would stay there again!

There was quite a few things wrong with this house. From the balcony door not opening to the tv in one of the rooms going in and out to the beach access gate not working. Will not stay at the Crystal Villas again.

Condo location was perfect!!! Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. Condo size was very good for a larger family and beach was just beautiful. Only thing that really bothered us is that condo was very dirty. I’m talking very dirty. Bathrooms looked like they have not been scrubbed for months. There were films of dirt in the sinks and toilets. There was sand everywhere when we walked in first day, kitchen was also not very clean. Floors baseboards, doors looked like they were never wiped. We feel bad for the condo owners because it is a beautiful condo, but whoever is cleaning is not doing a very good job. I hope this review helps owners to realize that is a problem.

Everything worked okay, but previous repairs seem sloppy and “almost” complete. There were issues with stuck blinds, screen doors busted, and badly stained carpet. Exposed electronics in the upstairs spa tub just seemed dangerous. The smoke alarm was installed right next to the heater vent, so every time the heat came on, we had to reset the alarm. All-in-all, it was a good value for the money and was very very clean. If you’re looking for a good value, this will probably suit you. We’d probably rent it again … we’d just bring a few extra items that we felt were missing..

The property checks the boxes for a quick getaway. The views are fabulous and easy access to the beach. The beds were not comfortable and made lots of noise. There were not any extra blankets and the beds didn’t have enough blankets to keep us warm. The upstairs bathroom has a broken toilet paper holder. The sliding glass door going out to the patio is hard to open. There were a few dead cockroaches around the main floor and the ceiling fans are extremely dusty. The parking is also very tight. This is just an FYI for the next renter.

As someone who was looking forward to being at the ocean A12 didn’t disappoint. Waking up each morning, sitting on the balcony and watching the sun rise was just one small perk!

It was absolutely perfect. The only thing i could recommend is maybe have some Clorox or wipe down cleaner so renters can wipe down surfaces

We loved the roominess, very comfortable and clean. Good and easy access to the beach. Loved having beach chairs with umbrella provided to us. Refrigerator could use an ice maker. Overall great place to stay. Would do it again.

Condo was clean and comfortable. The large table was so nice for our group. Kitchen had a nice assortment of cooking stuff and we didn't need to purchase anything extra, except coffee filters. My only recommendations would be some extra blankets, but thats just preference. Would totally book again!!

The location and view of the ocean is great! Directly on the beach. The pool is warm and nicely kept. On the downside, it was dirty. There was dust hanging from the ceilings and vents. The “king” size bed it two twins put together. The upstairs bathroom toilet paper holder is broke. The upstairs bedroom door is broke and my kids couldn’t get out or in without help. The only comfortable bed is the upstairs queen. The upstairs tub side is broke. There were two roaches in the room. One of the chairs in the porch had broken legs so you couldn’t sit in it.
